Marcus

One week ago

The ride was silent as I drove Casey back home. "I hate I have to come back here!" He mocked, kicking the dashboard, slamming against the seat, and crossing his arms. "I wish I can live back with mommy!"

"You fuck my car up and I'ma fuck you up." I hissed, looking straight ahead.

"Fuck this car!" He began panting and kicking wildly. Trying my best to contain him with my right arm, I easily swerved over into the next lane, causing the traffic to react with an echo of horns.

A few blocks down, and I was infront of the club. "Get the fuck out of my truck!"

Casey instantly halted his crying, glaring at me in fear. He had been around Erica too long, and his constant crying was something she would always cater too.

"You want me to put you out?" I questioned staring at him in all seriousness. "You can't hear lil nigga?"

Casey began fumbling over his seatbelt while rushing to open the door. "Yeah, that's right! Get the fuck out of my shit, kicking like a little bitch!" I called undoing my seatbelt and hopping out beside him.

I could see Daniel walking out of the club to meet me, holding a few papers  in his hands. "Where do I go?" Casey cried, walking towards the sidewalk and looking around hysterically. "Find Erica! You ain't welcomed in my shit doing all that crying." I needed Casey to understand I wasn't Erica or Chan, the outbursts we're becoming worse each day.

"Huh?" Tears filled his eyes as he stared at me then back to Daniel who was approaching us both. "I don't know where to go!"

"What's going on?" Daniel greeted me, shaking my hand with confusion. I was a bit dry continuing to challenge Casey as we stared eye to eye.

"Find your way. I wanna see if any of these junkies or hoes out here help ya' little ass make it back to mommy." I crossed my arms and sat back focusing on him.

"I-I- how?" He paused and his face began to turn red. He looked like he would cry at any minute but was too scared to move.

"Oh now you can't talk right? You ain't crying now, huh? Get back in the fucking truck and you better not start that sissy shit again!"

Daniel watched Casey run back to the truck before hopping inside and buckling his seatbelt. "Why you doing little man like that?" He pried, stepping a little closer.

"The lil nigga too soft. Every time I turn around he's crying. Mommy this mommy that. I mean damn, fuck Daddy huh?" I half laughed, glaring over to my truck and catching Casey kick at my dashboard. "You see this shit?" I rushed over pulling at the door handle before realizing that it was locked. Casey was begging for me to put my foot up his ass, I had to walk off.

"These came for you." Daniel calmly called, handing me a few envelopes. I was searching my pockets for a spare keys while looking over the mail. "Shit!" I mumbled after realizing what it was.

Chantel

"Marcus!" I jumped from the sofa, noticing how roughly Marcus was dragging Casey through the door. Separating the two, I held Casey's wrist and pushed Marcus away before walking towards the back rooms.
