The Mark Of Mastery

[ROXAS P.O.V]

"Today you will perform the Mark of Mastery. Remember this is not a test of strength but a test of heart, both of you can pass but both of you can fail. Lets not disappoint our Master Xehanort, who so kindly traveled so far just to see our contestants come short of the mark." Said Master Eraqus

I stood on the side lines, about to watch my 2 friends about to get ready for the mark.

"Very well, now that you understand let us begin." Said Master Eraqus while raising his keyblade and summoning spheres of light. Terra and Aqua were attacking and destroying the spheres like nothing.But while I wasn't paying attention a sphere began to wander over to where is was, not really thinking much of it, I swung my keybalde and destroyed it.

"Ven it's to dangerous for you here! Go wait in your room!" Exclaimed Aqua

"No, I've been waiting to see you 2 become Masters, I'm not gonna miss out on this." I responded

"Don't worry, he's trained with us, he can handle himself." Said Terra

"Ven, would you like to take the Mark of Mastery?" Asked Master Eraqus

"Me?"

"Yes you child. you can summon a keyblade and your heart seems to be in the right place."

"Of course ill take it!" I responded

I quickly ran over to where Terra and Aqua where fighting

[ERAQUS P.O.V]

"Eraqus, why did you suddenly let the boy take the mark?" Asked Master Xehanort

"I'm not sure, but something about that child seems different, he seems more confident and stronger." I responded

"Very well, let us see how the child fairs."

[ROXAS P.O.V]

"Terra!" I yelled as a sphere was ready to attack him

Relying on pure instinct, I threw my keyblade at this sphere breaking it on impact, and as soon as the my key made contact I made it reappear in my hands.

"Thanks Ven!"

I nodded

We went on for a while destroying the spheres, but they just kept appearing and appearing. I then got a bad feeling

A strange creature then attacked one of the Master's

"What is the meaning of this?" Exclaimed Master Eraqus "We are putting the exams to a halt, this situation cannot go unchecked."

"What? But why? lets just go defeat who ever is doing this, and the carry on with the exams." Said Terra

"No, we must take precautions and reschedule the exams. We don't know when the enemy will strike so I will teach all 3 of you something that will help you out in battle."

"Really Master?" Asked Aqua "What is this technique called?"

"What I am going to teach you is known as a drive." Answered Master Eraqus
