Forgotten Identity

Eleven

I went to my room and opened up my wardrobe, pulling out the punching dummy Adrian gave me. I started beating it when I heard screams coming from down the hall. I ran out my room to see Aqua and Cyclone running towards me. "Angels! The Angels have lost it!" they were yelling and running down the halls right towards me. My mind registered the word angels I ran in the direction they came. For the first time since coming to this school the corridors felt endless.

When I got to the courtyard I saw three human shapes flying off into the sky. I looked closer and saw a fourth body kicking and screaming. I tried to work out who the person was. "HELP! HELP!" I heard the screams and stopped dead in my tracks. I couldn't believe it. I would know that voice anywhere, the sweet musical way they had of speaking, the faint English accent I always loved hearing. The angels had Will. I turned towards the building to find someone when I saw Adrian and Jason running towards me.
"What happened Amy?" Adrian was the first to reach me. I went to answer but I couldn't find my voice. I was mad, I was hurt, I was upset but more importantly I was scared....terrified! Before I was able to answer I started sobbing. I let myself go and just cried out everything, the fear of losing Will, my anger at the angels, the fight from before I just cried it all out. Jason wrapped his arms round me and just hugged me.
"Shh, it's ok Amy baby, we are here, it's all going to be ok. We won't let anyone hurt you. As long as we are both here you will be safe, now tell us what happened?" I looked up and wiped my eyes.
"Angels....Will.....gone" That's all I could managed to say but between sobs it came out more like "angelswillgone" so I don't understand how they understood me. "I...I need to find Leo, make sure he is ok." I went to run off but Adrian grabbed my arm.
"Amy, Leo's fine, trust me. Right now we need to find Will, we need to save Will." Just then both boys turned to each other and started talking. I was in my own world, I had no idea what they were saying. The next thing I knew Adrian had picked me up and put me over his shoulder.
"What the hell?!" They started running to the student car park. When I was put down I saw a black Chevy camaro with angel wings sprayed on the boot. "Where the hell did you..." I didn't get to finish cause both boys laughed and climbed into the car, I quickly followed them sitting in the backseat. I couldn't help but notice Adrian was fumbling with the car keys "Age, you can drive right?"
"You insult me Amy." Without another word we sped out of the school. The ride was a blur, between me falling asleep and the boys feeding me more and more information. I started struggling to tell what was a dream and what was reality.

"Amy! Amber! Help! Someone HELP!!" Will's screams were ear piercing.
"Don't worry William, the Fallen will try and help you." A shadow stood hidden from view.
"Brother, maybe we shouldn't kill them?" A girl spoke up near the shadows
"NO! You have become weak!" The male slapped her and laughed.

I woke up with a jump of the car. I knew those voices, but I couldn't remember where. All I knew was that Will was safe, that's all that mattered. Jason had warned me that the angel could read my thoughts and show me things when I was asleep. That was why they refused to tell me where we were going. I hope that was true and Will was safe. "Amy you ok?" Jason's voice brought me back to the car, I nodded and sighed, looking out the window to the passing fields. "Almost there Amy." Jason's voice didn't make me feel any better.
"Hey I'm gonna call Leo, can you turn down the music?" neither boy looked at me or spoke as they did as I asked. I dialled Leo's number, it rang three times before he answered.
"Hello?"
"Hey Leo, it's me."
"Oh, Hey baby what's up?"
"I miss you that's all."
"Yeah, I miss you too, I was looking for you everywhere but couldn't find you."
"Road trip I'll be back soon." Hopefully I added mentally, just then I heard screaming. "Leo? Where are you?"
"Oh...I'm with Kayla...watching a...horror flick... she's really...worried...about Will"
"Alright then, I'll talk to you later."
"Ok baby, ring me later, I love you"
"You too." I hung up and Jason looked at me
"Is Aura ok?" he was worried, he had asked that about four million ties already. I shrugged and played with my necklace. "Amy? Amy we're home."
