I woke up to find that Jason was missing. I jumped up pulling my sword out and looking for the possible threat. I finally noticed him sitting on the roof alone staring into the sunrise. I made my way up the roof and sat next to him taking his hand slowly. Eventually he looked at me.
"I'm really scared Amy." I sighed giving his hand a squeeze "What if we do lose people sis? What if I lose her? Or Adrian? Or you Amy?" He looked at me, the realisation of what we were about to do had finally hit him and there was fear written all over his face. I kissed his cheek hugging him.
"Sweetie, I promise you. We are going to win, why? Because we have each other, who does Leo have? Some angels? They might fight on his side but they wouldn't lay their lives down for him like we would." He smiled softly and nodded getting up and jumping off the room to the ground his wings helping him make the fall.

Adrian was showing Aura some simple moves with a dagger and sword for most of the day so we couldn't move. I was impatient. Will tried to talk to me but one glare sent him over to the others. I sat on the roof watching for any threats when Will finally joined me. He didn't say anything, he just took my hand. That one gesture calmed me and slowly I sat against him, leaning into him. He kissed my head putting his arm around me.
"Don't worry, everything will be okay. Leo isn't going anywhere. We need to stay ready and without training Aura she is vulnerable and Leo knows this, by training her we have surprise." I nodded. I always feel safe when I am in his arms, I nuzzled his neck and he smiled down on me kissing my head. "I love you, everything will be okay." I smiled wider, I always imagined saying I love you would be more romantic but I didn't care, Will had said it, that was all that mattered. I pressed my lips against his gently,
"I love you too, always have, always will" He grinned and held me closer.

Eventually Aura was deemed fully trained by Adrian. After Jason hugged her tight we started marching off to another war. The walks felt like it went on for ages. My legs ached, I felt like they weighed a tone. The group were all starting to lose confidence, Adrian swore he knew where the angels would be but we were starting to have our doubts. I quickly ran up to him trying to see if he knew.
"Amy I swear it, just down here a little more okay?" I shrugged looking around before pointing to the sky and staring at Jason. He nodded understanding my drift and with a flap of his wings he was gliding above us, trying to get some perspective on where we were heading. He flew down quickly
"Smoke, everywhere it looks like the angels are causing destruction." Aura nodded in agreement
"That was his plan" She confirmed "Draw Amy out into the open so he can have an easy kill." Looking towards the smoke we could all start to see I felt the familiar dread growing in my stomach, I knew things were about to get even worse than before.
