Twenty one

Back at the house, my body started to take the tole on what had happened. Adrian took Amber to his room so she could sleep and he could fix what I couldn't. I just fell onto the couch. Everyone started doing things around me; I paid no attention. It finally hit me, I dated an Angel! It had been so obvious too, how had I missed it? He never swore! He was always trying to get me to say I loved him! Or sleep with me! How had I never made the connection? I felt so stupid, so dumb Jason had talked to me about angels for years; then again Leo was known to change his appearance.

I sat on the couch, I never noticed the sun set, or everyone go to bed till Jason came and sat down next to me. He didn't say anything, just put an arm around me and hug me tight. He understood what I was feeling because he dated Aura without knowing it. I looked up at him slowly "How could I have been so stupid?" He kissed my head and sighed,
"I don't know sweetie, and I made the same mistake." I shook my head
"No you didn't, you honestly didn't know, I knew there was an angel out there for me, I had signs of it, but I never made the connection Leo being the angel...I'm so stupid!" I suddenly burst into tears overwhelmed by this mistake. "I almost had sex with him Jason." Jason stared at me anger on his face before calming down. I was thankful it was Jason down here now, if Adrian had been Leo would have been hunted down with a shotgun. Jason hugged me again and kissed the top of my head. "You thought he was the one, but he tricked you, that what angels do sweetie, it will be okay. I promise." I nodded and feel asleep on his lap.

I woke up to Jason stroking my hair I smiled at him and sat up rubbing my eyes. "Everyone's waiting for you, we need to work out our next plan of attack" I nodded and got up walking to the kitchen which Ash had named "Headquarters" as a joke, this was where we had started making all our plans for battle unless the whiteboard was needed. Adrian was sitting at the table whispering to everyone while Will sat there letting amber in on everything we worked on. I smiled at everyone and sat next to Adrian. "Okay, what's the plan?" I look over at Adrian, he sighed.
"We have no idea, Leo knows we are onto him now hiding will only work for a tiny bit, Amber is pretty trained we just need to help her with her magic."
"It won't take me long; Amy can teach me in no time." Amber pipped up and I smiled
"Screw hiding then, Leo knows me he knows I went away with my brothers to my old home, it won't take him long to work where that is, then we are done for so let's head to him first." Everyone looked at me and Adrian took my hand.
"Sweetie we shouldn't initiate the fight." I pulled my hand away and stood up; my head was swimming with rage, initiate he thought we were starting the bloody fight?! Everyone started agreeing with Adrian voicing their opinions.
"NO!" I screamed it out and everyone shut up staring at me. "No" I lowered my voice trying to calm down "We aren't initiating the fight, he started this when he tried to seduce me, he started this when he kidnapped my boyfriend then my best friend. He made this personal. This. Is. Pay. Back" I paused emphasising each individual word. Adrian and Will both stood up to protest but my glare put them both back in their seats. "I'm done hearing excuses! I want him dead! His head needs to be on a silver platter so I can look at it, I need to know that my friends and family will always be safe!" Will got up and put his hands in on my cheeks holding my face in his hands.
"Baby, calm down...calm down please you're scaring me, and the rest of us." I looked in his eyes and felt all my anger slowly disappear till I couldn't even remember why I wanted to kill so badly.
"I'm sorry." He sighed and hugged me close to him smoothing down my hair softly.
"Amy, you have got to be careful." I looked up at Jason "You need to watch your emotions, you're not an average fallen angel, you're THE fallen one. Your emotions can get overpowerful, they try to protect you and anger makes you more powerful, you need to control it so you don't take it out on the wrong people." I sighed leaning on Will
"This angel stuff is harder than I thought." Will kissed my head softly.
"But you have us baby, we won't ever let you be alone." Everyone nodded in agreement.
"We are here till they kill us or we win" Aqua added to Will's speech and I smiled.
"Well I hope we win and not just die." I mumbled
"Alright, if we want to attack we need a plan." Adrian sat back down looking at a map of the city.

After three hours of staring at the town map a plan slowly started to form. "Adrian look!" He looked up half asleep. "Look at this." He came over to me and I pointed at the map. "The warehouse is smack right here," I pointed to the map/ "The warehouse is behind Flinder Street Station. If we split up and circle it we can meet them in the middle or attack fro both ends." Adrian followed my finger before smiling and nodding.
"How did we miss that?" He hugged me tight
"We were trying to find a way all together, not thinking about splitting up again." He nodded and smiled.
"Go sleep Amy, tomorrow we head to war."
