Tino's POV

What's going on? Where am I? I wondered, opening my eyes only, to squeeze them shut at the bright lights. I felt someone grab my hand, blinking rapidly to adjust my eyes. I looked to my left and saw Berwald staring at me. His blue eyes were filled with concern, making me feel bad about keeping my sickness to myself, thinking I could handle it alone.

My eyes filled with tears, feeling awful about how much stress this must've been on Ber and the others. He moved his free hand to my face, using his thumb to wipe away my tears. I leaned into his hand, laying my own smaller one over it.

At that moment, a doctor came in. "Excuse my intrusion, I have some news," he said, Berwald pulling away to sit up straighter. We both looked at the doctor expectantly, hoping for good news. What we heard... wasn't expected.

"Congratulations, you're pregnant."

"...I'M A MAN HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?" I shouted, Berwald gently placed his hand over my mouth, effectively shutting me up... for now. "Thanks," he calmly said. "We're not entirely certain how, but we're scheduling your monthly appointments with Dr. Honda. He may be able to shed light on your rare situation. Congratulations again," the doctor said, walking out and closing the door quietly.

I looked over at Berwald, a small smile on his face. He looked at me, his eyes holding the most happiness I've ever seen in them. "Ber... we're gonna be dads," I said, my eyes growing wide. My smile is so big I think I ripped my face in half. He grabbed my hand and pulled me over into his lap.

Berwald's arm wrapped around my waist, his other hand pushing my hair off to the side. I wrapped my arms around his neck, leaning in to give him a quick kiss. We stayed like this for a few moments before deciding to leave. I carefully stood up, Ber wrapping his arm around me as my support as we slowly made our way to the sign out before returning home.
