Ryan's POV:
I pull up and see her sitting there on a bench, a dark red haired boy runs around tha play structure. I stop tha truck an get out an start walkin. Slowly watchin him as I walk to tha bench, Kelly ain't changed too much. "Hey," I say.
She looks up as I stand grindin my teeth to stop from yelling at her. "Hi," she said sheepishly lookin me up and down .
I've changed since we broke up, went from a boy to a man, gained more muscle too. I knew from her look she was wishin she'd never broke up with me. She coulda had it, but I am glad she did, cause now I have the woman of my dreams. She stood up an awkwardly gave me a hug, me with my hands in my back pockets. "Forgive me if I don't hug ya back, I'm uh, a little upset right now with you," I say.
She backs away an shakes her head than sits down again. "See ya picked up where we left off," she said.
I sat down on tha bench settin my elbows on my knees. "You can't see why, I'm not sure why you'd hide this from me, all these years Kell," I say.
"Last I saw of you, y'all were 3 sheets ta tha wind, an fightin some guy, plus I did tell you, when I was pregnant, I called you," she said.
I frown an look over at her, "couldn't a waited till I was sober," I said.
"When would that be Ryan, cause ya barely were with me, sept when we were younger before it was ok for us ta drink," she retaliated.
"Huuuuuu," I breathed out, runnin my one hand threw my hair.
"Look, I've gotta couple hours before I get married, I don't wanna sit here an argue with you," I growled.
"Good then, GRANT HONEY COME HERE," she answered then yelled at tha boy, looking back at me sadly.
He came runnin an I couldn't even deny it, he looked jus like me when I was his age. He stopped short of us slowly walked up ta us. "Grant, this is yer daddy, Ryan this is Grant Huu," Kelly announced.
"Hey bud," I said an put out my hand ta shake his hand.
"Hi," he said shyly and shook it.
"Basketball fan huh," I said with a smile.
"Ya" he says an sits between Kelly an I.
"Panthers your favourite team," I asked.
"Ya how'd you know," he answered.
"They were my favourite team too, my dads too, records sittin 16-16 right now hey," I said smilin.
"Ya, pretty awesome," he says.
"Hm, huuu, you have tha same name as my daddy did," I say.
"Really," he asks.
"Ya, his name was Grant too," I said.
"Oh," he said.
We talked more about school and stuff, cars an trucks. He's pretty dang smart fer his age. Reminds me of me when I was young, kinda like my dad too. "Grant honey do y'all wanna go with Ryan, an I can pick y'all up at tha weddin, I'll bring yer cloths," Kelly asks.
