Night finally came, Rosalind sat by the window of Lucians cabin. The night was cloudless and the waters were soft and still. Rosalind always enjoyed looking at the stars ever since she was a child. Her mother would lay with her in the field behind there home. It was a memorable time she would never forget. It was getting late and her eyes felt rather heavy. She couldn't fall asleep but she couldn't help it. Her eyes finally gave way and she fell into a peaceful sleep.

Lucian left her alone to see to getting her some food. He couldn't very well let her run around the deck. The men would have a good try at her. Lucian walked back to the cabin with a plate off scones. When he entered he found the young miss asleep at the window seat. He walked over and set the plate down on the desk. He couldn't help but look at her. She was so small and delicate. He brushed his fingers against her soft cheeks and down her soft golden locks. He couldn't let her sleep there not after she slept on a floor in the bottom of the ship. Lucian picked her up and carried her to the big bed. He laid her down bringing the covers over her. The little temptress she was, even in a state of sleep made him want her. She was innocent though, he couldn't ruin her. Lucian slipped off his shirt putting it to the side. His hands went to his boots next and then his breeches. He stopped undoing them when he looked to her. He normal slept in the nude but tonight he would keep his pants on. Lucian crawled under the covers beside the young miss. He feel asleep right away.

Daylight shone in through the window. Lucian woke before rosalind, she was still fast asleep. Lucian was careful to not disturb her. He dressed and went up top. Jonathan was looking over the crew. "Aye captain how's the lass?" Jon asked. Lucian didn't want to start rumor of the Young girl. "She's well still sleeping".
Jonathan nodded, how far are we from the Irish lands?" Lucian asked.
"Not long now may even see land today" Jonathan told him. Lucian went about his business until then.

"LAND SPOTTED CAPTAIN" one of the crew yelled. Lucian came up to the deck taking the spy glass. He wasn't wrong land had been spotted. "Ah very good we should be there in an hr tops" Lucian said. He had made plan while they were loading up cargo he was going ashore. Jonathan was to see to getting some young boys for the ship. Lucian was going to see to finding an easier dress more suited for a ship for rosalind. Her dress was much to nice for the ship. She also had hard times getting it off. He had never though he be one to buy a woman a dress but there was always a first time for everything.

Warm soft sheets wrapped around rosalind. She awoke to the warm sun shining in from the window. It was a beautiful sunny day. Rosalind sat up confused on how she ended up in the bed. Where had Lucian slept? Certainly not with her she hoped, she couldn't have rumors about her. If any man on this ship put word put in new York about her she would be ruined.
Rosalind got out of bed looking to the mirror that hung on a wall. She looked awful! Her hair was a mess and her dress was wrinkled. She couldn't face people like this. It took her a moment to realize she wasn't aloud up top she was to stay bellow. The only man that worried her was Lucian. Why did she cate how he saw her? She needed to shake such thoughts from her mind. Lucian had a hair brush set aside. Along with a shaving set. He always did have a clean beard. She brushed her hair out so it wasn't a mess no more. Her soft blonde curls hung lose down her back. She had lost he hair pins and ribbons. She didn't mind though, leving her hair free felt right. It reminded her of her mother. She would always let her wear it down. Oh how she missed her so.
Rosalind walked around the cabin. It wasn't small it was indeed quite large. He even had a book case, it wasn't big but it still had quite a few books. She pulled one off the shelf and made herself comfy on the window seat. The warm sun felt good on her skin. The water was also quite a sight as it sparkled in the sun.

She had lost track of time. She didn't even the notice the boat stop moving. What did catch her was her stomach. It grumbled something awful. She realized she hadn't eaten in forever. She set the book down and looked to the desk to see a plate of scones. They looked so delicious. She didn't hesitate to eat them all. She felt so Unlady like but she couldn't care. She felt free to do as she pleased. She stayed tucked up in the window seat reading away. Who knows when Lucian would be back but all she knew is she wouldn't risk going up top.

It felt good to step and walk on land. Some of the men had taken to going to the pub near by. It was more of a brothel though. The men had needs and they knew when to be back on the ship. Lucian went a head into the town looking for a dress and somethings for rosalind. Most sailors would see having a woman on bored a bad thing. Lucian looked to it more as a challenge. She would work hard and he knew it. She had a free spirit about her.
He finally found a small shop to buy a dress. He settled with something more meant for a sailor. He also got her a few pins and ribbons to pull her hair back. The shop lady wrapped it all up in a box for him. Lucian headed back to the ship. It was time to set sail for new York.
