So what's everyone think of the story so far? I am so excited to get more into the story! I am like shaking. I have so many ideas and I can't wait to write them!!! Anyways let's get on to the story!
-----------------------------❤-------------------------

Rosalind walked around the cabin not knowing what to do. When would he be back? How longs would he be? It was all so new to her. She was being very improper, especially from a proper lady like herself. She had been raised a good girl. Her mother taught her so much up until the age of 12. Her mother passed away of an illness, leaving only her no heir. Her father had been beside himself when he lost his wife. He barely talked to rosalind the first month after. Rosalind spent most of the time learning to be a proper lady from her governess. Sadly she never had one last more then a month. Her father took to seducing them and sleeping with them all. She hated to get close to someone only to watch them leave her life. Rosalind became rebellious, not in the way most would see it though. She took to climbing trees and riding like a man would. Her maids where appalled at the sight of her gowns when she came back. Her father took to yelling at her saying no man would take her for marriage if she looked like she did. Her skin was Sun kissed not like the proper English girls who feared away from the sun. Her life was great until her mother's passing. She wouldn't carry on her father's name, she had to be married to a good one though. Her father placed a hefty dowary on her. Rosalind wanted to marry for love not a name, her father saw different. Many men signed her dance card during the season but only one made the cut. She was given no say to who got her hand she was just an object in the game. Her father saw Edward winchester as the best match. Rosalind couldn't stand such a man, he was rude to woman and treated all as whores. Rosalind couldn't believe what her life was going to be like back in London.
The young miss was broke from her thoughts by the door opening. She turned to see Lucian walking in. She couldn't help but marvel at his amazing looks. "Are you well miss Turner?" He asked her, "yes I am fine captain" she said to him trying not to blush. "Please miss Turner call me Lucian a lady like you shouldn't be calling me what the crew does." He said giving her a seducing smile.

Lucian was known to charm ladies he was quite the Rouge. He saw the way she tried to hide the blush that grew on her cheeks. She was a temptress one he wanted more then anything. He knew her type though she looked a proper English girl, a young one at that. "Well 'Lucian' you must call me by my name as well then" she said smiling at bit. "Very well...rosalind" he said saying every part of her name as it was silk on his tongue. " I think it be best if we got to know each other" Lucian said to her. She seemed to stiffen at the idea, she had secrets. "You answer my questions and I'll answer yours" he said trying to ease her worries. She looked nervous like she was looking for a reason to say no with out looking guilty. "Very well" she finally answered.
"Well rosalind how old are you?"
She looked stricken by the question
"I am only 18 years of age"
Only 18?! She had only been out for what he guessed a season and she was traveling alone! What was she thinking she was much to young.
"What about you? Your a captain of a great ship you must be 35? Maybe older?"
The question threw him off a bit. He wasn't that old!
"I am only 30 rosalind"
He loved to say her name it felt so right. It was his turn to ask a question but he had nothing to ask. He knew she would break and tell him all eventually.
"You have only had the one season so why run?"
The question took a bit of time for her to answer. As if she was thinking on what to say.
"Like I said before I was running from a marriage I do not want to be apart of" she said not backing down from the story.
"Your name greyland it sounds familiar? Where do you come from?" She asked him. He was shocked it had been some time since some one had remembered the name.
"I am the Earl greyland, I have many homes in London. I choose to sail though." He told her. Her face lit up in fear, what did she have to fear though. What did she hide from him?

Rosalind couldn't believe it he was the Earl greyland! She remembered the family they were wealthy. His family had many homes. Woman would do anything to marry them. She knew he had a brother but for the life of her she couldn't remember his name.
"So Lucian when do I start working?" Rosalind asked him. She was curious if he would make her start to day right now. "You can start tomorrow for now I am sure you would enjoy a bath. I will have one brought up to my cabin for your privacy" he told her. She had been so busy worrying of lies and getting to new York safely she forgot about bathing. "Thank you Lucian it is much appreciated" she said to him. He was a kind man a Rouge one but still a gentleman. Lucian nodded to her before leaving again to fetch the tub and water.
She couldn't help but feel great full for ending up on this ship. Any other would have treated her much poorly. This wouldn't be so bad after all.
