First Love [Jung Jaehyun Fanfiction]

~Chapter 14~

"Yah Jaehyun-ah where are we going," I asked as he finally stopped in front of a game booth. "We'll go wherever you wanna go," he said as he smiled, showing his cute dimples. I looked around me as I realised we were standing in front of the same booth that had the big brown bear earlier. I looked at the bear longingly as Jaehyun followed my gaze, finally understanding. I felt a tug at my hand and I turned to face Jaehyun, who asked me to follow him. I obediently did and he brought me to the game booth.

I watched as he asked the owner for a water gun and aimed it at the bullseye. I stared at him in awe as the balloon started to fill up. The bigger it got, the more excited I got as I looked at Jaehyun who was very serious in winning. The balloon got bigger and bigger and finally, it popped, spraying water and wet confetti everywhere. When the owner of the store asked for him to choose the prize, he pointed at the brown bear that I wanted. My eyes lit up as Jaehyun handed the bear. I hugged it tightly and I heard him say, "I saw you staring at it so I decided to win it for you."

Instantly, I stopped hugging the bear and ran towards Jaehyun to give him a big hug. He stumbled back a little from the impact but eventually returned the hug. My thank you was muffled as my face was buried in his chest. He laughed and said it was nothing. I then looked up at him and asked, "Where are we going next?" He then asked me back "Where do you wanna go?" in which I replied with the bumper cars. He nodded his head and grabbed my hand before leading the way to the bumper cars.

We then stopped in front of the ride. Lucky for us, the queue was short so we didn't have to wait long to get on the ride. We got into a car that was red and had the number '97' on the front. Jaehyun drove the car as I had to hold the giant bear. Once the ride started, there were other cars hitting us at every direction. I spotted Johnny and Ten on one of the cars and told Jaehyun. When Jaehyun caught sight of them, he started chasing after their car and bumped ours right into theirs.

When they realised that we were the ones who bumped their car, they started to chase us as we tried to lose them. The rest of the ride, we were bumping other people's cars and were being bumped by multiple cars. Johnny and Ten didn't give up chasing us until the end which made Jaehyun and I laugh. When the ride was over, we met Johnny and Ten at the front. "So, where are you guys going after this?" Ten asked with a smirk. I looked at Jaehyun, curious to where he would bring me next. "Hmm, I don't know," he replied as he looked back at me.

"You guys can decide your next ride then. The both of us are heading to the roller coasters now. Have fun!" Johnny said while winking in Jaehyun's direction. I looked at the both of them strangely before both Johnny and Ten disappeared from our sight. "So, where are we going?" I asked, emphasizing on the are. All he did was smile and led me to the ferris wheel. I started to panic as I was scared of heights. I tried to make up and excuse on the spot to avoid going on the ferris wheel. "Uh c-can we like go somewhere else first?" I asked, cursing at myself for stuttering.

"It's okay. It's gonna be fun," he reassured me. We then got into one of the many carriages. I sat the brown bear on the seat, placing the seat belt over it to prevent it from falling before joining Jaehyun on the bench opposite it. As the carriage started to move, I felt my phobia kick in. When it finally reached the top, it stopped abruptly which caused the carriage to rock. I looked out the window and saw how high up in the air we were which caused me let out a little scream as I shut my eyes tight. I heard Jaehyun chuckle next to me before wrapping his arms around me.

"Hey, its going to be alright. Look at me, look into my eyes and forget about everything. Now think of the happy times you've had while at the amusement park," he cooed. I followed his instructions step by step as I thought of Donghyuk and I scaring Yuta, Mark, Chenle and Renjun in the haunted house, and I thought of how Jaehyun was holding me while comforting me. Slowly, the fear had left as I stared into Jaehyun's eyes.

I blushed at how close our faces were. I saw as he looked down at my lips before leaning in. I closed my eyes and waited, and sure enough, he planted his lips onto mine. I responded to his kiss and we stayed like that for a while before he broke the kiss with a blush evident on his face. As if on queue, the ferris wheel stopped and we were back on the ground. I took my bear and hurriedly got out of the ferris wheel to catch up with Jaehyun.

When I fell in step with him he said, "We have to get back to the others. It's already been an hour." As he said it, he avoided all eye contact with me. I guess he was awkward from what happened in the ferris wheel earlier. We picked up our pace and arrived at the information counter, finding no one there. Just then, a heard of boys came running back. They stopped to catch their breath. When they finally looked up, they started teasing us as we both were blushing. I felt my cheeks heat up even more and I could only imagine how red it was by now.

Jaehyun cut them all off when he announced that we should be heading home as it was starting to get dark. I mentally thanked Jaehyun as I watched the other boys immediately shut up and nod their heads in agreement. I trailed behind the boys while holding the giant bear and the plastic bag containing the picture from the haunted house close to my chest, not wanting to loose it. I followed behind the boys until we've finally reached the van.

We started to say our goodbyes as NCT Dream, minus Mark and Donghyuk, along with Ten get into their van which was parked next to ours. We watched as they drove away before getting into our van. This time, I sat by the window with the beat propped up on my lap. To my left was Mark, who wouldn't stop teasing. Finally, he stopped teasing and asked in English "So, what are you going to name the bear?" I shrugged at first, but I came up with a name for it after thinking hard. "I guess I'd name it Jae?" I said, unsure. He asked if Jaehyun had won me the bear and I nodded.

"You have to tell me everything when we're home," he said eagerly. I nodded, "I'll tell you if I can stay awake." Right after I said that, a yawn escaped my mouth. The both of us laughed as I said "I guess I'll be telling you tomorrow then." I felt my eyes start to feel heavy as I rested my head on Mark's shoulder. Soon, I found myself sleeping on Mark's shoulder while hugging the giant teddy bear.

Hey guys! So as yall know I said in a previous chapter that I was sick. Now, i'm in the hospital so I'd only be able to publish the chapters that I had written in advance until I have my laptop with me. I hope yall will enjoy the next few chapters before I go missing
