You dragged your feet down the stairs that led to the Green Arrows HQ. Not wanted to face your ex today more then ever. You and Felicity worked side by side sometimes in the Arrow cave. It was awkward at first when you two broke up about four months ago. But eventually the pain began to numb away.
You still felt strongly for her even after all this time and at first you thought maybe she felt the same. Until she started dating Oliver a few weeks after you'd broken up. And your heart had broken even more. Not only did she break up with you... she broke up with you for a guy.
"Hey Y/N," Rene greeted, ceasing his relentless punches on the punching bag, walking up and giving you a quick sweaty hug. "How're you holding up?"
You and Rene had been close friends for a long time. You were friends even before his wife and daughter. He knew about you being lovesick over Felicity and he somewhat helped you through it.
"I'm fine." You sighed leaning against a nearby wall and running your fingers over the dark circles under your eyes, barely acknowledging that you were drenched in his sweat.
"Yeah. You sure as hell look it," He laughed rolling his eyes and going back to the punching bag.
You mentally groaned as Felicity and Oliver walked in hand in hand her wedding ring glistening in the light as she laughed at what Oliver was saying.
I used to make her laugh.

You were forced to briefly look away as the two locked lips.
"Y/N?" Your heard her call after she'd pulled away from Oliver.

"What're you doing here?" She smiled softly as she made her way over to you.

Before you could make any comment she pulled you into and hug and you had to try not to break at the contact.
"Hey, uhm-" I fucking love you. "Oliver called me to help him with something. And I wanted to be here to cheer Rene on." You plastered a fake smile on your face as you crossed your arms over your chest leaning back against the wall.
"Well, it's good to see you." She smiled and you had to look up to wash down to tears forming in your eyes.
