"Gobble Gobble, bitches," you greet exiting from your room, fully dressed in your Turkey costume and walking into the kitchen where Barry, Oliver, Cisco, Harry, and John hustle around.
"Y/N! It's about time. I was beginning to think you'd slipped into a pre- food coma or something," Cisco jokes dusting flour onto his apron and ushering you towards a bowl of mixed cornbread batter and thrusting a scooper in your hand.
"Where are the girls?" You asked resisting the urge to yawn and scooping the batter into the cupcake pan.
"They went to go pick up a cooked turkey because someone," Cisco stares pointedly at Oliver who playfully rolls his eyes, "has butter fingers."
You laugh and bang the pan against the counter to level out the batter, "Did it take all of them to do that?"
"We were just going to send Thea but Felicity and Iris decided they were going to go and they just dragged Oliver and John with them too," Felicity explains setting the oven temperature for the cornbread.
"Oh," you deflate completely you miss your girlfriend (INSERT GIRLFRIEND), "She was supposed to go to bed with me last night but the girls instead dragged her out to the club. I miss him."
Barry tries to hide a smile but he can't help it as he explodes into a rush of excited words.
"What?" You furrow your eyebrows at her and shove the pan into the oven.
Oliver and Cisco immediately leap onto Barry. Cisco covers Barry's mouth with his flour covered hands and Oliver holds his hands back.
You furrow your eyebrows and are about to inquire about the strange behaviour but you can hear the door opening and you rush over to greet your girlfriend.
"Hey, guys..." You trail off as you realise not one of the girls is carrying un guajolote,"I thought you were supposed to be getting the turkey?"
Your girlfriend holds back and laugh and let's out a, "Yeah," then gestures towards your attire.
You snort, "Very funny, babe."
Without noticing the rest of your group slinks back into the shadows and you finally realise what she's doing when you see the bulge in her dress pocket.
"Baby..." you take a step back as she drops down to a knee and pulls the black velvet box from her pocket.
"Y/N, the moment I saw you for the very first time will be stuck into my memory till the end of the days because it was the evening when the course of my life radically changed its direction. I remember you joyfully dancing in Verdant with your best friend, and your smiling eyes grabbed my attention for the whole evening," His eyes are watering and your are following suit as you use the back of your hand to stop the tears from falling, "You encourage me to get up every morning, to do great deeds for you, and to constantly become better. You are my inspiration, my motivation, and my desirous goal. You know like nobody what is a happiness and where it is hidden. We both want to have a colorful and memorable life, and together we can make our dreams come true."
"(Insert her name again)..." your voice trembles.
"Y/N Y/L/N, will you marry me?"
You nod your head furiously and tackle your fiancée to ground, straddling her a planting a long kiss on her lips. She holds you close to her even after you pull apart and she can feel your gentle sobs against her shoulders.
"Why are you crying?" She asks pushing you away gently so she can examine your face.
"Because you did all of this while I was in this damned turkey costume."
