It had been a little less than a month since you had lost your temper and threw a punch at Oliver. Since that day you had locked yourself up in your apartment, only leaving for work and ordering takeout whenever you got hungry.
You couldn't believe that she cheated on you it was just something that you couldn't wrap your head around. By now you hardly cried over it but you were still hurt. You loved her. And you still do. You loved her so much you don't know what to do with yourself anymore, especially knowing now that your feelings for her weren't mutual.
You groaned standing from your position and over to the door where the latest mail had come in and was scattered along the floor. You sighed as you slid to your knees collecting the mail slowly going through the mail a loud mortified gasp tore past your lips when your eyes landed on card and Elegantly printed in gold was "You're Invited" and inside with the same golden print was your name along with Oliver's in Felicity's side by side.

"You did what?!" Oliver yelled to Felicity his eyebrows raised as the team gathered to watch the encounter.
"I may have sent Y/N an invitation to our wedding." Felicity squeaked out avoiding the harsh glares of the team who were flabbergasted at the newly found news.
"Why would you do that? She's still hurting from what you did to her! She barely leaves her apartment!" It was Rene that spoke this time stepping in front of Oliver to confront Felicity.
"I know! And I'm sorry." She sighed still staring at her hands.
When she said this Rene scoffed shaking his head and backing away, "That's all you seem to be Felicity. You wronged her in more ways than I can count, just the mention of you or Oliver and I can hear her heart withering up and dying. She was friends with you Oliver, and she loved you Felicity but the two of you are honestly disgusting me right now." He voice broke as he finished what he was saying and he paused before continuing, "Even after all of that she wished the two of you happiness she only asked not to be invited to the wedding. Why couldn't you just do that?"
He pulled off his hockey mask and threw it to the side pulling off the rest of his suit with him leaving him in a long sleeved t-shirt and some gym shorts he wore under his suit. He was shaking his head as he walked to the elevator.
"Wait where are you going?" Felicity called out finally looking up from whatever was so fascinating about her hands.
Rene turned around by now already in the elevator, "To make sure she's alright. Not like you give a damn."

When Rene walked into your apartment he wasn't shocked when he saw you sitting on the floor and staring at the card with shaking hands. But he was when you stood up and walked up to him pulling him into a tight hug.
"I'm going to go to Central City, to see Barry. To get away from here." You smiled sadly as you pulled away your arms still around his neck.
"Okay, Y/N. Just... don't be gone too long. I don't know what I'll do without you." He said pulling you back in and squeezing you tightly.
You smiled softly pressing your lips to his cheek and tightening your hug. "I'll be back. I promise."

The dark circles under your eyes were more obvious now than ever because you didn't bother covering it up with makeup deciding you didn't have anyone to look nice for anyway.
