Y/t/s = Your teaching subject."Uh, I keep him under control now." You overheard Hank talking to someone.
You looked down the stairs to see an all too familiar face.
"Alex?" You laughed
"Whoa, Y/n you sexy thing." He lifted you off the stairs and spun you around.
"Down boy." You smiled and he put you down in front of hank.
"Look at you, all grown up." You said squishing his cheek.
"And who might this be?" You asked
"This is my brother, Scott."
"Please tell me he isn't as much of a handful as you were." You and hank shared a concerned glance.
"Alex? A handful?" Scott asked confused.
"Oh yeah." You and hank said in unison looking at Alex.
"I was a kid." Alex tried to defend himself.
"Yeah that's not an excuse." You said shaking Scotts hand.
"Hi, Scott. I'm Hank McCoy. And this is Y/n Xavier, we're both teachers here."
Scott just nodded practically ignoring you and you couldn't help but laugh.
"Xavier? You guys married?" Alex asked intrigued.
"No, not yet I just get the kids to call me that to subside the confusion."
"That seems more confusing." Scott butted in and your just rolled your eyes.
"Shut up."
"Where's the professor?" Alex asked and you pulled him up the stairs to Charles' classroom."To break forth bloodily then the past must be obliterated and a new start made, let us now start fresh, without remembrance rather than live forward and backward at the same time.
Now what on earth do we think that the author meant when he wrote all that." Charles said as he turned around and saw all of you.
"That's going to be your assignment for tomorrow, top marks everyone. Class dismissed." He closed his book and smiled.
"Just while you guys are all in here, remember you all have y/t/s assignment tomorrow." you smiled and the kids dragged their feet as they left the class.
"Alex. It's good to see you." Charles chuckled.
"Ah, you too." Alex pulled Charles in for an embrace.
"You look well. It's been a while."
"It has, not too bad yourself and obviously missy here hasn't aged a day." Alex laughed and Charles nodded pulling you close.
"This is my brother, Scott."
"Hello, Scott. Welcome to the school for the gifted."
"Yeah. It doesn't exactly feel like a gift." He scoffed
"It never does, at first."
"Shall we take a walk around the grounds?" You said excitedly and Charles agreed.
You walked around till you reached the 'pond' which was more like a lake."The first step is understanding one's power, is learning the extent of it. Only then can we begin the process of teaching you how to control it.
If you do decide to stay, I can promise you that by the time you're done here, you'll be able to go back into the world and play a stable and productive part in it.
Why don't you take your bandages off and we can have a look with what we're dealing with here?
Alex, would you line him up? Face him in the right direction, as it were."
Alex obliged pulling his sunglasses down and you did the same.
"There's a target just across the water. When you open your eyes try and hit that."
Alex and you took a step back and hank stayed still.
"Hank." You gestured for him to come back but he didn't get what you meant.
"For a genius sometimes your really stupid." You said yanking him back.
"You can open your eyes, Scott. There's nothing to be afraid of. It's quite-"
Charles was cut off by the blast that not only hit the target but straight up a tree.
You started to laugh again, patting Charles on the shoulder as he laughed too.
"My grandfather planted that tree when he was five years old, I used to swing from the branches of it, myself." Charles said as the tree split in half and fell with a loud crack.
"We were actually going to have our wedding ceremony there.
I think that was probably my favourite tree." Charles said looking up to you and you patted Alex on the shoulder
"I hated that tree." You said bluntly.
"Does that mean I'm expelled?" Scott asked and you just laughed.
"Oh, on the contrary." Charles turned to Scott.
"I'll get your room ready." You smiled
"Your enrolled."
Hank took Scott and started talking science with the poor kid as Alex stayed back with you and Charles.
"Married huh? Your a lucky man Charles."
"I know." Charles brought your hand down and kissed it.
"Not yet." You smiled showing off your engagement ring to Alex.
"I'm happy for you two, I better catch up before Scott knocks hank out."
Alex said running off.
"You never told me that you hated that tree." Charles glared at you
"I didn't need to."
"Oh shut up, mrs Xavier." He pulled you down for a sweet kiss.
"Not mrs Xavier just yet."
"But you will be and that will be the most happiest moment of our lives." He smirked and you pulled away.
"No."
"What?" He said shocked.
"The most happiest moment of my life was seeing that tree split in half." You smiled pushing Charles' chair.
"Oh come on it wasn't that bad."
"Yes it was Charles."
"Y/n your being over dramatic." He laughed.
"So are you." You left him there with the breaks on
"Y/n, y/n i can't reach the breaks what the bloody hell." Charles struggled and you walked off
"Now who's being over dramatic!" You smirked running off.
Charles spun up beside you as you caught up with hank and Alex.
"Your over dramatic." Charles smirked and hank and Alex both looked at you both confused.
"He's being-"
"She's being-"
"Over dramatic!" You both yelled with smiles on your faces me
"Oh wow, imagine the married arguments." Alex took a deep breath in and patted hank on the shoulder.A/N: i honestly love this, I don't know why. Hope you guys enjoy.
