Epilogue
If there is a perfect song to tell our story, it will be "A Thousand Years". Hindi katulad ng pangako nya kay kuya, tinupad nya ang lahat ng salitang binitawan nya sa akin. He promised that he would make me walk on the aisle while wearing the most glamorous dress with my parents.
Seven years ago, everything only existed in my imagination. I just took my first step but my soul is already celebrating in this beautiful moment. The song that tells our story is playing as everyone's eyes go to me. I am finally giving my life to the only man I ever loved.
"Don't cry, baby," mom whispered.
The image of a man standing on the altar is already clear in my sight. A smile automatically flashed on my lips as I saw him waving to me. Today is the day I am marrying the prince od my life.
We have been through a lot. We broke up a hundred times and go back to each other a hundred times too. We got jealous of many people who don't supposed to be jealous to. He graduated as cum laude and I graduated as suma cum laude. I witnessed how he fixed his relationship with his parents. We supported each other in what we wanted to do in life, even we are not so into it. I remember when I joined in the volleyball team once. He said he was so proud of me, but my teammates told me that Prince kept on asking who those guys are that sent me flowers. Sya lang daw ang may karapatan. But the worst thing that almost made me kick his ass was when he was directing a play and he was one of the casts. Mayroong kissing scene doon with Jean, who is by that time an official member of tha club. I told him to just do it because he wanted to show his acting skills too. Pero wala naman pala talagang kissing scene at niloloko nya lang ako ng isang buwan na pagdi-direct nya ng play na iyon. on the actual play, he went down of the stage and look for a lady to give a red rose to. Who else? Ofcourss he gave it to me.
All those immature moments and difficulties we had, we still ended up together. This businesswoman is now marrying an engineer/tycoon. Kuya Yves is the best man.
I danced infront of him nang ibigay ni dad ang kamay ko sa kanya and whispered something. He laughed at me at hinalikan ako sa pisngi.
"The princess is excited to dance, father. Shall we make the ceremony shorter?" Hinampas ko sya sa balikat dahil sa sinabi nya sa pari.
"I love you." I whispered.
"I love you more, Mrs. Xalverio." Not yet.
That was one of the best days of my life. To be treasured, to be retell, to be written as a book that would have a permanent space in this world.
