A/N: just letting you guys know, it's important if you look at the picture I put at the start of each chapter. You don't have to, It just gives you a idea about who the chapter is focused on so.. Yeah onto chapter 8.

Ally's POV

Miami High finally registered me as one of their students after finalising all the details. I was supposed to start attending 2 weeks after I applied to go here instead of L.A but they finished early and today is my first day at the school.

As I open the doors to the school, I immediately see Lauren and I sneak up behind her and jump on her back.

"Who the hell is on my...oh I Allycat" Lauren says, I slide off of her back and into her arms for a much needed hug. But then I realise something so pull away from her and start to glare at my cousin.

"What?.. Oh come on short stack I didn't mean it. And it's not like hell is even a swear word."

I glare harder

"Okay geez, I'm sorry"

"That's better, now come on you need to show me around" I say while grabbing her wrist and start to pull her.

"Can I see your schedule so I know where I have to show you first? Because the bell is about to ring" she explains and I hand it to her.

"Alright, well we're in the same home room and you have some classes with me and my friends. Come on, we're gonna be late." Lauren says and then pulls me opposite way I was dragging her.

As we're walking to home room I slip on a bag that was left on the ground, Lauren stops and turns around curious to what made a thud sound on the floor. She looks down at me and the hallway was filled with hysteric laughter, I pout and cross my arms as she's wiping away a stray tear that fell from laughing so hard.

Once she stops laughing at me, she helps me stand up but it hurts too much to walk at the moment and I have a noticeable limp. So she crouches down and gives me a piggy back ride to home room.

As we're walking, a beautiful brown girl jogs over to us and starts to talk to Lauren. I don't think she notice me until I sneezed into Lauren's hair which cause her to groan with an 'eww' and the girl beside her to laugh.

"Sorry Lo" I apologise

"It's okay Allycat. Anyway this-" she points to the girl beside her "- is Normani. Normani this-" she points to me "- is Ally."

"Hi Ally, it's nice to meet you. Just one question though, why are you on Lauren's back?" She asks and Lauren starts to laugh again.

"Because she fell over Mahomoes bag that he left beside his locker and hurt her ankle" she says through a fit of giggles.

Normani laughs as well and now the two girls below me are giggling like idiots.

"Oh man, Dinah's gonna lose it when she hears this" she says clearing her throat.

"Who's Dinah?" I ask

"Oh Dinah's that girl who came up to us the other day and accused me of hurting the girl behind her, remember?" Lauren answers and I nod.

We get to our home room door and Normani opens it for Lauren, who walks in and puts me down at the desk next to hers. We start talking about random things while we wait for the teacher when I remember something I needed to tell her.
