Lauren's POV

The concert is tonight and I'm basically sweating bullets. I'm seeing Troye for the first time in weeks which I'm so grateful for because otherwise I'd pass out on stage from how nervous I am. I haven't been this worried about a concert since the first one I've ever done and it all because of what I have to do after.

I have to be at the arena I'm performing at 2 hours earlier for sound check so Camila and Norminah are meeting me here while Ally will be backstage with me. The girls still don't know but they'll be the first to as soon as I'm ready. Alyx determined that I'll be ready to tell the world in 2 weeks without my consent and now the press conference is set so I can't back out.

I sigh and park my car, Ally and I got out and started to walk inside. Troye and I rehearsed and did the sound check before the arena started to fill up. The girls will be here soon and I'm terrified. What if they recognise me on stage? What happens when they realise I'm not there during the concert? What if Camila thinks I ditched her?

I sighed and walked over to Ally. She told me that the girls are outside and that I should go through the back exit and walk in the opposite way of the stage so they don't see me. Troye gave me my mask and told me to put it in my bag before I meet up with the Camz so she doesn't suspect anything. I listened to my cousin and took the mask from my best friend and stuffed it in my bag.

I started to walk the route Ally told me to when I bumped into someone.

"Ou shit I'm sorry!" The familiar voice said and my eyes met hers.

"Hey Camzi, I was just looking for you" I explained and she gave me a tight hug, then took my hand and let me to Normani and Dinah. Mani gave me a hug and D high fives me in greeting. I sighed and turned toward the stage I'm supposed to be performing on tonight, I was thinking how I waa supposed to get back up there without being seen so no one would get suspicious when my phone buzzed in my pocket.

Ally :
Quick pretend it's an emergency and meet me at the back exit so we can get you ready.

I read her text and typed out a quick 'okay' before locking my phone and putting on my best panicked face. I turned to the girls with wide eyes and my mouth agape, thinking of a quick lie I could tell them.

"Oh my God! Guys I'll be back, Ally needs me. Something about a party city wig catching on fire." I said quickly and ran away so they couldn't protest.

I met her and the exit and she took me to hair and make up. Once I was ready, I took the mask out of my bag and put it on. I was doing my pre performance routine when I noticed something, my signature one of a kind charm necklace was missing. I gulped and thought back to when I could have lost it.

I came to the conclusion that it probably fell off when I bumped into Camz, one of my fans will probably see it and return it when the shows over. This has happened before but not before a performance, just in the middle or after. I'm not worried that I won't get it back, I'm worried because I've never started a show without it on my body somewhere.

"Laur? You have 3 minutes until you go on. Everything okay?" Ally asked me concerned and I shook my head.

"No Als, you know my special charm necklace? It fell off when I found a Camila and I've never done a show without it." I explained, running out of breath toward the end of my sentence.

She nodded along, signalling that she was listening and that she understood. Suddenly, she bolted my backpack and started ripping things out of it left and right. Until she stopped and smiled a big face earring grin and sighed of relief.

"Here's your back up one Lo. Break a leg!" She said, handing me the necklace in the process.

"Thanks Allycat! I always forget about this" I said, quickly hugging her before being pulled on stage.

Troye and I just got off stage after one of the greatest concerts we've ever done. I was smiling brightly as we were getting bombarded with fans and questions. I chuckled and excused myself when my phone started to ring.

"Hello?" I answered without looking at the caller ID.

"Hi Lolo! Is Ally okay now?"

"Yeah she's fine now. I'm sorry I missed the rest of the concert Camz, I'll make it up to you I swear." I apologised and she giggled on the other end.

"It's fine Laur, but I'll hold you to that" she said and I chuckled.

"I believe you, but I have to go now. I'll see you later?" I said and I could practically hear her pout and huff.

"Fine, can you come over tomorrow?" She asked shyly and I cooed.

"Of course I can baby. Bye"

"Bye"

I turned to the fans and basically dragged Troye away from them and to our dressing rooms. He thanked me before walking into his and I entered mine.

I took off the mask and changed into some comfortable clothes as I waited for Ally to finish helping Alyx with something.

I heard the door crack open a bit and I shook my head. Ally is such a weirdo sometimes, I told her she come in straight away before the concert started but I guess she forgot.

I walked over to the took and closed my eyes as I sighed. I opened it all the way and didn't even bother to look at her. I started to tell her that she could've just came in but stopped dead in my tracks when I realised that the girl wasn't Ally.

"... Lauren?"

I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much as I usually do, but school has me really busy so I'll probably update once or twice a week now.
