Lauren's POV

Since Mani is still 'sick' I have first home room to 4th period alone since Ally isn't technically a student yet, and after lunch I have the rest of my classes with Dinah and Camila.

I was running to my home room and just barely made it into the classroom before the teacher shut the door. I apologised, the teacher gave me a detention and told me to take my seat in the back on the far side of the classroom. Ugh if Taylor and Chris hadn't been bugging me to take them to the mall I would've remembered to set my alarm last night and I wouldn't have got a detention. Chris better than his lucky stars he's not in my home room or her would have a permanent foot print on his face from me throwing a shoe at him.

The bell rang and I ran into someone on the way out of the classroom. She has shoulder length half pink and blue hair and the other half jet black. She possesses big hazelnut eyes that fill the position of 2nd prettiest brown eyes I have ever seen, the 1st belonging to Camila of course. Her smile is big and bright and she has an adorable gap between her 2 front teeth, but her smile looks like the type to go from cute and harmless to kill a bitch mode within 3 seconds.

"Hey, your names Lauren right? I'm Melanie, Melanie Martinez."  She asks while introducing herself to me.

"Lauren, Lauren Ju--Morgado" I quickly interrupted myself but she didn't seem to notice.

"So," she drawls out "why'd you move to Miami?" She asks me and of course I can't tell her the whole truth, so I settle for the semi truth instead of a complete lie.

"Well I moved to L.A for a little bit and stayed with my cousin because she was going through something with her parents," I vaguely gave her an answer, not a complete lie but more like a twisted truth.

Melanie and I quickly became friends after we met. She's the perfect mix of sass and stupidity, well apart from Dinah. It's now 4th period and next we have lunch, I haven't been in the cafeteria yet because I've been busy trying to find Chris. At lunch he seems to disappear completely and show up halfway through 5th, what's going on with him?

The bell rings 15 minutes later and I make my way to the cafeteria. I was just gonna get my lunch and sit in the library but as I was a good 10 seconds away from leaving, I feel at least 2 sets of hands on my forearms and wrists.

"Come on Lauser, you can have the honour of sittin' with us." I hear Dinah say as her and Melanie? pull me up to a table and force me to sit down on one of the chairs.

"Gee, thanks for the choice guys" I remark sarcastically.

"You welcome Hoe" Dinah exclaims seriously.

Just after these words left Dinah's mouth, 6 other figures sit down at the table. 2 boys and 4 girls

2 girls sit down together while the rest of them go get their lunch and I'm alone with them at the table. One had jet black hair and the other has chestnut brown, they're sitting weirdly close for just friends so I'm assuming that there's something going on with them.

"Hi I'm Ariana Grande and this is Kylie Jenner," the smaller one of the two introduced them while the other jut shove food in her mouth and nodded.

"Hey I'm Lauren, it's nice to meet you" I say trying not to look at Kylie, who has dribble running down her face and chewed up food hanging out of her mouth. Ariana just giggles and starts cleaning up her face.
