Camila's POV

I walk into the bathroom between classes and I find Melanie smoking in the corner. She only does this when she's upset or has something on her mind. I know somethings going on with her, but she hasn't told me anything. The last time I saw her this upset, it was because of that fuckgirl Tori.

I can't believe I trusted her, we all did. Melanie trusted her the most and she just threw it away like it was nothing. Like we meant nothing.

"Hey Melly, what's wrong?"

"I don't know anymore Mila! All I know is, I can't be without her any longer," she breathed, trying to calm heralded down so she didn't break out into a full on meltdown.

"Who Melz?"

"...Ally,"

"You mean Ally from advanced Chem?"

"No Mila, Lauren's Ally,"

"WAIT HOLD UP! When did this happen?"

"We knew each other before she transferred here. 8 years of friendship, then she moved. I dunno, I guess I've always kinda had a thing for her," she finished, flicking the butt of the cigarette into the sink, drenching it with water from the tap.

"... what's stopping you?"

"Huh?"

"I said, what's stopping you? You and Ally would make such a cute couple. Grow some ovaries and ask her out, before that bitch does,"

Whenever one of us refers to "that bitch", clear that we're talking about Tori.

"What if she doesn't like me?"

"Then it's her loss, because you are an amazing person and anyone would be lucky to have you,"

"Thanks Mila,"

Melanie jumped off the counter and wrapped her arms around me, I comforted her with my warm embrace. Melanie and I have been friends since middle school. I wouldn't have made it through the bullying if it wasn't for her.

"Now GO GET YOUR GIRL!" I yelled, slapping her on the ass to get her moving.

She dashed out of the bathroom, but not before flipping me off and adding a "ew homo". We both chuckled at that. The way we express our love and appreciation for each other is definitely different to how other friends do.
