Tori's POV : thoughts

The new girl caught my eye about a week ago. She walked in with... Lauren I think her name was. Doesn't matter, I'll just ask her when I hit her up, after the shorty at least.

I saw her enter the classroom on Lauren's back but I didn't think anything of it. After Lauren put her down at one of the spare desks, they started talking. I was about to go over there and flirt with her but then Lauren suddenly got up and hugged her , wiped away a stray tear and kissed her forehead.

Oh man, she's taken. Eh, it's not the first time I've stolen someone else's girlfriend.

Operation new girl has commenced.

I saw her walking down one of the halls with Melanie, what's she doing with such a loser? I walked up to her and shoved Melanie off to the side.

"Hey Short stack" I greeted with my signature smirk.

"Umm hi?" She answered.

"I'm Tori Kelly, y'know from home room" I introduced myself.

"I'm Ally, nice to meet you"

"So shawty, mind if I get you're number?" I ask flirtatiously with a smirk plastered on my face.

She blushed and nodded. I handed her my phone and she put her number in while Melanie rolled her eyes next to her. She finished and I messaged her when she passed my phone back.

Tori:
Heyy cutie ;)

Her phone buzzed and she took it out of her pocket, read it and blushed. She quickly typed out a reply while Melanie had an annoyed look on her face. She's totally jealous. I smirked at the thought and my phone buzzed.

Ally:
Aww thx stranger

I rolled my eyes and messaged her back.

Tori:
Really? You gave me your number like 5 minutes ago

Ally:
Nah just messin with ya Tori

The smirk returns to my face and I put my phone away as the bell rings.

Ally's POV

While I was talking to Tori, Melanie looked annoyed and rolled her eyes a lot. I wonder what's up with her?

When the bell rings and Tori walks away, I grab Melanie's wrist and pull her way from the classroom she was going to.

"What Ally?" She snaps annoyed and I'm taken aback, she never snaps at me.

"What's wrong with you?" I ask, a little hurt by her sudden outburst at me.

"What's wrong with YOU? You're the one who gave your number to the biggest fuckgirl this school has to offer!" She yells at me.

"She's nice Melly, give her a chance" I reason with her and she scoffs.

"I did Ally! And it turned her into the asshole of a heartbreaker she is now!" Melanie exclaimed with a hint of hurt in her voice.

"What do you mean Melanie?"

She sighed and sat down, I followed suit. She turned to me and took a deep breath to calm herself down.

"Allycat, last year Tori was one of the sweetest people you would ever meet. We started hanging out and she became part of our little group as quickly as you and Lo did. I was the closest to her since we were friends for the longest, and we started to gain feelings for each other.

A couple weeks later, she asked me out and I accepted her offer. She asked me to be her girlfriend by our 3rd date and I said yes. She was really sweet and caring at first, but when I said no to her while we were.. Um y'know, she started to get really sour and mean.

One day after gym, I caught her making out with some cheerleader. I walked over and slapped her, said it was over and walked out. Ever since then she's never been in a committed relationship, only make out sessions and random hookups. She never calls them back and NEVER hooks up with the same person twice."

After Melanie finished explaining, I looked at her and gave her a much needed hug. I let her go and kissed her forehead.

I took put my phone and blocked Tori's number. Nobody hurts my best friend.

"If it makes you feel better Melly, I didn't like her that much. And besides, she's not THAT cute." I joke and she giggles.

"Thanks Allycat, I needed that. I think Tori really likes you though" she admits with a sigh.

"Yeah, maybe I should give her a chance? Y'know maybe she's changed"

"I guess, just don't get too attached to her. If she does cheat on you, then I'll kick her ass"

"Okay"

Boy was I wrong
