"C'mon Ally, it's been a week and you haven't left your room,"
"Lauren, fuck off!,"
Her voice cracked as she yelled through the locked door.
Tears streamed down Ally's face, she was so broken.
The swearing surprised Lauren. She had been knocking on the door for hours each day before Clara made her stop, but she never cussed at Lauren for trying, until now. The only time Ally has ever sworn was when her mother and father were screaming and yelling and her dad got physical.
"Ally, just let me in,"
Ally slid down the door and sat wth her back toward it.
"Please Lauren, just go away,"
"Ally, I want to be there for you, but I can't if you don't let me in. We've supported each other since we were kids, you're my only cousin and I love you with everything I have. Please unlock the door,"
Suddenly the lock clicked and the door creeped open.
As soon as Ally was in her sight, Lauren immediately took her into her arms in a long, tight embrace.
They sat there for hours, Lauren held a broken Ally in her arms.
It physically hurt Lauren to see Ally in this state.
One thing was for sure, Lauren was determined to fix this.
