Why is it that practically every other line in The Princess Bride is so culturally iconic? Not complaining, just wondering.
I mean
"As you wish."
"Inconceivable!"
"Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something."
"Mostly dead is slightly alive."
"Good night, Westley. Good work. Sleep well. I'll most likely kill you in the morning."
"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
"I'm not a witch! I'm your wife!"
"You seem a decent fellow. I'd hate to die."
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"Have fun storming the castle!"
"Mawwiage."
"Death cannot stop true love. It can only delay it for a while."
And many many more. I just find it interesting that there are so many memorable quotes from this amazing movie that I love very very much.
