Chapter 7

Maddy' POV

I woke with a start, I was back in my bed, I got out of my bed and checked Kim's bedroom, she was nowhere in sight. I walked down the stairs, and went into the kitchen, my mom and dad were nowhere in sight either. I was a little scared now, I walked into my living room, hoping to find someone, but again no one was in sight. But the front door was slightly ajar, the wind blew it open a little more, I carefully walked over to the door and gently opened it. The town of Angel Grove, like the actual town was in front of my house, I live nowhere close to the actual town, this was impossible. I slowly walked outside my door, I was so confused, this has to be a dream, I tried to pinch myself awake, but nothing happened. There was no one in sight, it was like a ghost town, it was so silent I could hear the wind eerily howling. "Dig" a women's voice whispered, but her voice shook the very ground I was walking on, I heard it again, the ground shook even more, so much, that I lost my footing for a second, then I heard it again, this time, something was actually digging. Across the way, a woman, surrounded by green smoke, stood in front of a massive creature that was digging into the heart of Angel Grove.

All of the sudden, the women appeared in front of me, I jumped back, shocked, she definitely wasn't human, her skin was a pale grey, her eyes, held were electric blue, unlick Jason's kind eye's, this women's eye's made my skin crawl. I tried to get away from her, but couldn't, all of the sudden there were people surrounding me, the only problem is that they weren't alive, they were frozen on the spot, in a weird, almost concrete substance. Everything else in the town was also covered in the substance, I tried to run away again, but couldn't, the women appeared right in my face, she started to suck the air right out of my lungs. It was almost impossible to breathe, it felt like she was taking my life, right out of me, she backed away from, put her hand up, and I started involuntarily moving backwards, hitting the dead people as I went. Their bodies crumbled into dust as I hit them, at this point I was crying out of an insane fear, as soon as the dream happened it ended, I gasped as I woke back up, and dropped out of the air, landing on the floor below roughly. We all coughed and gasped, I think it's safe to say, that we're all freaked out by what we just witnessed.

"Sir, I'm detecting elevated heart rates" Alpha 5 told Zordon, I don't think he cared, "they're very scared" Alpha 5 said. I stayed crouched on the ground, wiping the tears off my face, I was completely terrified from everything that has transpired to day, and this was like the cherry on top. I think I started to have a mild panic attack, because Kim came over and put her hands on my back, she soothingly rubbed up and down and tried to calm me down. It worked and she helped me stand up, Jason found my eyes, he looked at me, asking if I was ok with his eye's, I nodded yes to let him know I was all good. "Why would you show us that nightmare?" Jason demanded angrily, "it's not a nightmare. It's the future" Zordon answered, I think that's why I'm so scared right now, because deep down, the whole time during the dream, I knew that it was real, and it was going to happen if we didn't do something. "Who was that women?" I shakily asked Zordon, "her name is Rita Repulsa. She will create Goldar" "the huge monster" I interrupted, "yes, Goldar will rip out the crystal from the Earth, and all life on your planet will die" Zordon finished, we all looked at one another, obviously uncomfortable with the idea of the whole Earth dying. "With this crystal, Rita will the power to create and destroy worlds" Zordon said, now it was all making sense.
