An annoying beeping noise woke me, I was half awake at this point, so I just reached over a warm body, and hit the alarm, I made sure not to crush it this time. I laid back down, still half awake, I almost forgot that Jason had spent the night, speaking of which, I looked over and Jason was still sound asleep. He looks so peaceful; I guess it's true when people say you look younger when you sleep. He had a piece of hair hanging out of place, and without thinking, I brushed it back gently, so I didn't wake him up. He moved a little, but stayed asleep, I sat up and stretched out my body, I might as well get changed. I climbed out of the covers, and somehow got around Jason, without waking him up, I went to my closet and picked out my outfit for school, it was pretty basic, I saw Jason's jean jacket that I had hanging up in my closet, I should probably return it. I took out the jacket and placed it at the foot of my bed, then walked back to my closet, I took of my shorts and put my jeans on, then took my shirt off, facing away from Jason, then slid on my t-shirt.
Once I was changed I walked over to my bed, I stood over Jason, I put my hand on his chest, and gently shook my arm, "Jason, you need to get up. Come on I'll take you home so you can change" I whispered. All I received from him was a grunt, he barely opened his eyes to acknowledge me,

"ugh!" I whispered, I grabbed his arm and started to pull, the ranger powers helped. Jason fully woke up when he hit the floor, he looked up at me, "what? You wouldn't get up" I chuckled, I offered him my hand, but instead of me pulling him up, he pulled me down. I grunted when I hit the floor, Jason and I both laughed quietly, he had one arm behind my head, the other by his side, and he was leaning over me, I'm sure if anyone walked in, this would look so bad. We looked into one another's eyes, "Jason?" I asked seriously, "ya" he whispered, "what exactly is this going on between us?" I asked. He seemed to think about it for a second, "Maddy, I know that in the past that things haven't been good between us, but I don't think either one of us can deny the chemistry between us. Everything just feels so right when I'm around you, but I'm ok with taking things slow, especially with everything going on in our lives now." He answered, I'm ok with that answer, I smiled, "so we're somewhere between friends and couple" I said, he nodded, that's fair, and he's right about all the things we have going on in our lives right now.
