It's been about 3 months since the attack, all of our wounds are healed up, Jason and I walked hand-in-hand through the crowded school hallways, we were currently headed to lunch, we sat at what I call the ranger-table, and waited for the rest of our friends to join us. We pulled out our lunches and enjoyed the small amount of alone time together, and ate, it was all pretty quiet until Zack excitedly slammed his lunch bag on the table, breaking our moment. "Really Zack, honestly for once in your life could you not be so damn loud?" I joked, he chuckled, "oh I'm sorry, was I interrupting a moment between the two of you? It's not like you don't have more time in the day to stair deeply into one another's eye's", by this time Zack had jumped up and put his foot on his chair, he dramatically waived his arm, "oh Jason, Jason, wherefore art thou, Jason" Zack quoted Shakespeare, but with his own twist, a ruff hand pushed him down. "Okay Shakespeare, why don't you just sit down and eat your lunch and leave them alone" my sister said, then bonked him in the head with her hand, and she took the seat beside him. Billy and Trini were also with her, Trini sat next to me, and Billy sat next to Jason, as usual, I swear, sometimes it seems like we're not best friends anymore.
"Billy, how come we haven't hung out in forever, I swear, my boyfriend gets more time with you than I even get with him" I joked, Jason chuckled, "is someone jealous of our friendship?" he joked, I shook my head no, but he knew I was lying, he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me into him. His face smushed into the side of my head and he planted a sloppy kiss on the side of my head, "mwah" Jason mumbled with a mouth full of food, I shoved him away jokingly, "ew! That's disgusting", everyone at the table laughed at the two of us. "How about this, you, me, candy, popcorn, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, this Friday" Billy reasoned, I nodded my head excitedly, we both love The Lord of the Rings. I stuck my hand across the table, "you have a deal", he smiled and shook my hand. Jason smacked our hands away, "get your hand out of the way, I'm trying to eat here" he joked, Kim threw a tator-tot with ketchup on it at him, hitting him right next to the corner of his mouth. It bounced off, and he tried not to smile so he simply bit his lip and looked away and mumbled and 'okay',

we were all dying of laughter, I think I even peed myself a little. Jason looked a little hurt that we were laughing at him so I grabbed his face and brought it down to mine, I planted a sweet kiss onto the side of his mouth, licking the small amount ketchup off, "better" I whispered, he nodded.
Since Jason and I ate first, we finished first, so at some point he pulled my chair closer to him and wrapped and arm around my back and occasionally rested his head on my shoulder, and we spent the rest of our lunch laughing with our friends. The whole time, I couldn't help, but think about how lucky I was to have friends like this and a boyfriend like Jason. I never imagined that this is how my life would be a couple months ago, everything changed when we became the power rangers, but it was for the better.
* okay! so the plan is to write a bunch of one-shots now that the story is officially over. it will be a lot easier for me to do this instead of writing another story, and that way you guys can read more about them and it's easier for me so it's a win-win situation.
