Laying in bed and silently crying to myself, I heard a knock at the door. I didn't know who would be knocking on my door and why, so I stayed completely silent, listening. Seconds later, the door knob twisted and my bedroom door opened.

"Shelly?" Slash's voice echoed through my room.

Taking a deep breath to calm myself down, I cleared my throat. "Hey Slash." I answered, using the back of my hands and wiping away my tears. Looking into the direction of my door, I watched as Slash walked towards me.

"Are you okay?" Slash questioned, coming over to the bed and taking a seat on the edge closest to me.

"Of course, doing great." I lied, even though it was pretty obvious I was not okay and had been crying.

Slash sighed and shook his head. "You don't need to play brave in front of me."

Ignoring Slash's comment, I thought I would see why he was here. "What's going on?"

"Nothing much. Me and Izz were talkin' though. We were just saying that you, him, Steve and I should go out for a drink. Duff and Axl aren't invited and Alison said she was going to stay home and keep an eye on the pair. So what do you say?" Slash offered with a sweet smile.

"I don't know, Slash." I answered hesitantly. "I'll just be a mess, especially mixing my emotions with alcohol." I reasoned.

"That's okay though, we can all be messes together. We'll drink, we'll sing and if you want, we will fucking cry together." He reached over and touched my nose.

I couldn't help but laugh at Slash's comment, I couldn't lie, it sounded good. "You sure?"

"Am I? Of course I am!" He chuckled. "Now come on, how about you get up, get dressed and wash your face? By the time you come down stairs, we should be ready to go out." Slash suggested.

"Okay." I nodded.

"Sweet as! Right, I'll see you downstairs." Slash gave me a nod before he hopped off of my bed and headed straight to my bedroom door. "Sing out if you need any help." He murmured before leaving my bedroom.

Laying in bed for a couple of minutes longer, I eventually got out and headed straight into my bathroom. Turning on the tap, I gently splashed some water on my face, being careful not to get much on my stitches. Drying my face, I headed back into my bedroom and opened up my cupboard. I didn't feel like dressing up, so I figured I would just wear a pair of black skinny jeans, a loose floral crop top and my blue denim jacket. With that, I would only wear a pair of thongs. So I looked reasonable and not like a hot mess, but I wasn't dressy. It was simply nice. With some perfume on, I made my way down stairs to find Slash, Izzy and Steven waiting on the lounge for me. As soon as each of the guys laid eyes on me, they held encouraging smiles.

"Woohoo, looking good Shelia." Steven chuckled.

"You cleaned up nice." Izzy smiled sweetly.

"This is my 'don't feel like dressing up' look, is it okay?" I asked as I stepped off of the last step.

"You still look beautiful to me." Slash compliments.

"Thanks." I blushed.

Izzy hopped up from the lounge and sung out to his wife, wherever she was around the house.

"Babe, we are going." Izzy hollered, obviously waiting for Alison just to appear out of no where.

Alison appeared within half a second and she had a smile upon her face. "Right, you guys behave. Especially you." She pointed to Izzy as she walked over to him and gave him a quick kiss.
