Duff's POV:
I couldn't believe it. It finally happened, I kissed Shelia!
Things would have been ten times better if we hadn't been interrupted, but I wasn't complaining all too much. I mean, I had her all to myself tonight. We were going out together, with nobody else to interrupt or distract.
It was no secret that I couldn't get enough of Shelia, let alone our kiss. I wanted her to be in my arms, to be so close to each other.
I definitely couldn't get enough of her, the kiss and especially of how close she was to me. I wanted her more then ever, I had deep feelings for her and I'm sure she could feel that through our kiss. Our interrupted kiss.
Waiting patiently in my room, I walked back to the bathroom to check on my appearance. I was wearing tight black denim jeans that were tied together with a yellow lace. The belt I wore was black and had many silver spikes, giving the hint of punk rock. With that, I matched it with a loose black singlet and a leather jacket over the top. My hair for once wasn't teased, but otherwise, I looked my usual self, just maybe a little spunkier.
Wandering out of the bathroom, I took a deep breath and stood just at my bedroom door. I was nervous, I know I shouldn't be, but I was. I hadn't been on a date for a long time, besides I tried to make this one special, so I hoped Shelia would love what I have planned.
Encouraging myself to open the bedroom door, I strut down the hallway and stop right in front of Shelia's. Gently knocking, I waited a moment for her to answer.
As soon as the door swung open, my jaw hung open with it. Shelia looked absolutely beautiful in a short and tight black dress with leather high heeled boots. Her hair was tossled around on her shoulders and she wore some red lipstick. It wasn't applied heavily, just enough to add some colour to her lips. She didn't wear any other makeup, which I admired. She didn't need makeup, she looked like an angel without any.
"Ready?" Shelia gave me a sweet smile.
I closed my mouth for a moment and nodded my head. "Y-Yeah." I bit my lip. "You look amazing." I compliment. Her dress really hugged her body perfectly, it showed every curve.
"Thanks." She blushes. "You're looking like a bit of a hunk." She than compliments, urging me to grin. Well that just gave me a boost of confidence. She liked what she saw, that's all that mattered.
"Thanks babe." I winked. "Now, we both make a separate appearance and head out?"
Shelia smirked, rushing out of her bedroom, she grabbed a hold of my hand and tugged me with her. "Come on!" She whispered.
As we walked along and headed down the stairs, I couldn't help but look at our hands that were entwined together. She really made me feel special, made me feel like I was the only man in her eyes, despite not intending on doing it.
"You go first, I'll follow." I usher Shelia as she let's go of my hand and walks normally towards the kitchen.
Seconds later, I heard Shelia's heels as she returned. She had a small smile. "We are safe. Everyone is upstairs. Only Axl is there, drinking some whiskey." She explains.
Axl drinking? On his own? Now something wasn't right. He didn't usually drink on his own, and when he did, it usually wasn't good.
"Sweet, give me a sec." I give her a smile and leave her side, walking into the kitchen.
As soon as I entered, I spotted Axl sitting on the stool right by the bench. Like Shelia had said, he had a glass of whiskey and was kind of hunched over it.
"Hey man, you good?" I asked with concern. I mean, we weren't real close, but he was still one of my best friends.
"Aye! Yeah, I'm peachy." Axl returned, raising his head for a brief moment before gazing back down at his liquor.
"You sure?" I leaned against the bench, staring at him.
"Yeah, just thirsty." He nodded, shrugging me off.
"Where's Mary?" I asked this time. I did not believe him, he wasn't okay and I just wanted to know why and if he would be alright.
"She's showering." He darted his eyes back to me. "Chill dude." He forces a smile onto his face. "I'm fine, everything is just fucking perfect."
I was concerned, Axl was not like this. It killed me to know that he wasn't okay and wouldn't open up about why.
"Right. Well if you don't wanna talk about it, I'll leave you to it. Later Ax." I shook my head, letting out a sigh.
"Yeah, see you dude." He mumbled.
Walking out, I spotted Shelia standing at the front door, waiting for me. Spinning on her heels, she gave me that same smile, one that seemed to drive me crazy.
"Is he okay?" Shelia automatically asks.
"Hope so." I mumbled, gesturing for her to walk out the front door.
Walking out to the white limo just outside the house, Shelia looked at me completely star-struck. "We are riding in a limo?" She was very impressed, I could see it by her expressions.
"Of course, unless you'd rather catch a cab?" I smirked.
"Either way, I wouldn't care." Shelia begins to blush. "I'm just happy it's with you."
Now that really made my night, that one little sentence. Not knowing what to say, I just wrapped around her waist and pulled her in close as we walked over to the limo.
Right by the passengers stood the one and only driver named Geoffry. He usually drove us around, so naturally you learn his name.
"After you." Geoffry gives Shelia a smile as he opens the door for her to get in.
"Thanks Geoffry. You are a legend." I give him a grin, patting his shoulder as I got in behind Shelia.
As the door shut behind us, I sat right by Shelia, making sure to sit as closely as possible. "So I got some friends in town tonight. They are playing live and I have a hunch you know and love them." I tease, clearly getting Shelia thinking.
I knew that Shelia adored the band. I had Alison to thank for that, she mentioned it a couple of days ago. So when I heard they were in town, I thought 'fucking great!' it works out in my favour, that's for sure.
