Chapter 2: The Script

Dominic
Lilly is at my house right now, and we are about to go over the script. I'm so fucking nervous.

Lilly
Dom said he has to tell me something. Is it about the script? Holy crap. I am literally so stressed out. I SUCK at confrontations.
"So are you ready?" his warm voice washed over me.
"Yes. I am more than ready," I nodded.
"Let's roll."

The camera guy started setting up his camera, and the sound guy was getting the mics and stuff set up. At last, everything was ready.

"Ok, so I am doing a video called "Hold On" which will be releasing on Thursday. Basically you're going to be standing in front of a board where there are a bunch of pictures of us together and there will be a whole bunch of stuff hanging on the board. Most of the stuff will be things that I gave you," Dom explains.
"Alright, got it," was all I said. It was a lot to take in at once.
"And you will step up to the board, looking super serious and kind sad. Then you will take most of the pictures down. And there will be a stick figure guy on a piece of paper which you will also take off the board, put not put it inside the box. Instead you will set it aside because I will call you. And you will pick up my call because the song that I am using with have the following words: "And I realized, that I'm not over you." And then the stick figure guy comes to life and has to get through all of these obstacles to return to the love of his life, which is a stick firgure girl, duh. And those people will represent us and our metaphorical relationship," Dom finishes.
"Wow, that's some really deep ish right there."
Dom lets out a chuckle. "Let's get started."
"Let's do it!"

We shoot the first scene, and then start shooting the kissing scene.
"Ok, are you ready?" his brown eyes hold mine as he questions me.
"Yes," I nodded once more.

Dom explains how the scene will go. Then we get rolling. We throw our roses aside, and it happens.

Dominic
I can't believe I finally get to kiss Lilly! I missed her soft lips so much. Everything about her kiss seems so familiar. She's so damn gorgeous. Her chocolate brown eyes stare into mine, and my heart starts racing. And then it happens.

Lilly
Damn. I forgot how good of a kisser he is. Everything about him is just so familiar. Wait, am I catching feelings for him?

Dominic
Does she have feelings for me?

Lilly
Does he like me? I mean, I cant possibly date him. I'm too busy, right? But he's so hot, says the evil little voice in my head.
"Ok, we should probably stop kissing now," I pull away from him before I do something I won't be able to stop myself from.
"Why?" he asks with his lips against my neck.
"We can't do this anymore," I curtly said.
"But, Lilly," Dom begs.
"Yes?"
"I have feelings for you."

My heart starts beating faster and faster.
"I think, I think-," I stutter, my mouth failing me.
"What?"
"I think I have feelings for you too."
"Really?"
"Yes," I reply as I peer into his chocolate eyes. "But we can't do this anymore, Dom. I don't have time for a relationship, and plus I'm a really bad girlfriend."
"Don't say that."
"It's true. I'm sorry. I have to go."

And with that I turn around so that Dom dosen't see the tears that are starting to roll down my cheeks. "Bye, Dom," I mutter out a goodbye.
"Bye, Lilly,"he says with pain evident in his voice."
I grab all my stuff and run out the door and sit in my car, put my head on the steering wheel and start to sob.

I thought Lilly really liked me...
