The nurse brought Jasmine in so Lilly and I could hold her. Lilly and I. I still can't believe that we're a thing. We have a child together. I used to dream being together with her, have all of these fantasies, and now? This is a reality. I look over at her and see her smiling.
Even though her hair is messy, and her makeup is smudged, I can't help but think about how beautiful she looks. She's gonna be an amazing mother. I can feel it in my heart.
The nurse comes back in and takes the baby and says that Lilly will be able to check out in an hour! After all of the paperwork is done, we go home, hand in hand. I can't believe this girl is mine. I used to wonder if there even was going to be an "us". Now there is an us. This could be the start of something new. This could be us.
a/n: guys, that's a wrap on This Could Be Us! I am so extremely happy but at the same time sad. This journey was amazing. I finished my first book. I can't even believe that happened. Thank you so much for all of the love and support you guys showed this book and thank you so much for all of the votes and comments.
