Chapter 30

Lilly's POV
I wake up to someone's strong arms sliding around my waist. I open my eyes and look up. That someone is Dom. I smile, remembering last night. He looks over at and sees that I woke up.
Dom: Good morning, darling.
I playfully punch him.
Me: I'm not your darling.
Dom sighs.
Dom: I wish you were though.
Me: Yeah, well tough.
I snapped at him. I can't let my feelings get in the way of our "friendship". I can't bear to be hurt by him again. Even though I still love him. I push the covers off and I walk to the bathroom. I wash my face and brush my teeth and hair. Speaking of hair, Humble should be releasing his music video any day now. I'm kind of nervous though, because in this video I play a lesbian, which meant that I stepped out of my comfort zone once again. I always remind myself that true success lies outside your comfort zone. I then get started on my makeup. Which as usual takes a while if I actually make an effort to look good. Finally, I finish and go downstairs where Dom is sitting on the couch, using my T.V.
Me: So, what are you doing?
Dom: Oh, me, um, i-
Me: Mhm, that's what I thought. Now get out of my house.
Dom: What?
Me: I'm just kidding! You should've seen your face! Also you could've asked me.
Dom: I figured that you were mad at me.
Me: You were wrong. I just can't let my feelings get in the way of my job.
Dom: Are those feelings about me?
Me: Possibly.
Dom: Come on, Lilly. Cut the crap. You like me and I like you. Lets just go out already!
Me: Boo, what are you saying?
Dom: I'm saying that um, I kind of, have feelings for you.
Me: Yeah, I figured.
Dom: So, um, will you go on a date with me?
Me: I'll consider it.
Dom: Ok, also what about the collab we're shooting?
Me: Get your booty up and go get ready!
And then he does that. When he's finally done, he orders food and we eat and catch up. And then I call my team over and Tony and we get started. Hours later, we finally finish. I say goodbye to Dom and then Nata stays over for dinner and a girl's night with Misako. We eat all of the popcorn and then we watch some Jane. A few drinks and episodes later, I get out my phone and message Dom.
Me: Fine, I'll go out with you.
Dom: Really?
Me: Mhm.
Dom: Ok, see you tomorrow. Good night, beautiful.
I blush and smile and Nata gives me a look.
Me: Good night.
And then I fall asleep with a smile on my face.
