Chapter 38: Should we tell?

Lauren
I was sitting in the kitchen eating my breakfast when Alex comes behind and scares the crap out of me.
"ALEX!" I screamed.
"What? I was having some fun! So what do you wanna do today?"
"Hmm, why don't we invite the squad. It's been forever since we've had a reunion."
"Yes! I can't wait to see everyone."
"Me too. I'm gonna go call Lilly and everyone else. You go call the dudes."
"Ok, love you."
"Love you too."
The first person I called was Lilly.

"Hey girl! What's up?" I said into the phone.
"Lauren! My sister! What's good?" She replied on the other end.
"Nothing much, you sound extremely excited."
"Oh, it's because I have great news. What did you wanna say?"
"Oh, I wanted to say that we're having another squad reunion."
"That's perfect! I have such amazing news to share with you guys! What time?"
"Is 5pm a good time for you?"
"Yes, that sounds great! I'll tell Dom. Thanks Lauren! I love you"
"Aw, I love you too. See you then!"

Dom
I just got off the phone with Alex and I'm feeling kind of nervous. Lilly on the other hand, seems completely confident. I feel kind of bad that I didn't put her on birth control. But she seems so happy about this kid. I just need to man up and support her through out this journey. Because I know it'll probably be hard for her, but together we'll get through it. I go downstairs and find Lilly ordering pizza. She gets off the phone and smiles at me.
"How are you holding up?" she asks.
I laugh and kiss her on the cheek.
"I should be asking you that." I say.
"I'm fine, a little shaken, but I'm ready for this. Just I don't know if I'll be a good mom to this kid."
"Babe, without a doubt you will be the best mom ever. I love you so so much and we're gonna be the best parents ever." I reassure her.
"Ok, let's not get to emotional here." she says.
The delivery guy arrives and we dig in. Afterwards, we start getting ready. Lilly goes upstairs to change and do her makeup. I don't do much, except brush my hair and spritz on some cologne. Then I go on my phone while I wait for Lilly to finish getting ready.

Lilly
For today, I decide to go on the casual side. I twist my hair in a bun and tie my white bandana around my head. I do my makeup, which doesn't take too long because I go natural today. I search my closet for the perfect outfit to wear, and I decide on my pink unicorn shirt that one of my fans gave me and some ripped denim jeans. I top my outfit off with my adidas. I go downstairs.
"Hey, boo, I'm ready to go. Wait, why are you googling how to take care of a pregnant person? Dom, I'm not even a month into my pregnancy. I'll be fine."
"That's great. I'm just worried, that's all."
"I'll be fine." I reassure him and kiss him on the cheek. We get into the car and go over to Lauren's house. The first thing that I notice when I step inside is how good everything smells. I go to the food area and pile stuff on my plate. Alex came over and asked:
"Want a drink?"
"Sorry, I can't."
"Woah, since when does Lilly Singh not drink?"
"Since I found out I was pregnant."
"Wait, what?!" He yelled and the whole room instantly falls silent.
"Dom, we have to tell them."
"Uh-oh, this sounds pretty serious,"  Liza nervously said.
Dom came over and put his arm around my waist.
"Well," he starts
"I'm pregnant!" I blurt out.
"Wait, are you serious!" shrieks Lauren.
"Dead serious." I say, wearily.
"Omg!"
All of the girls run up to me and start congratulating me and hugging me.
"Oh my glob, I can't believe it, Lil. I'm so happy for you!" Lauren said as she hugs me for like the sixth time tonight.
"Me neither." I said, feeling a little sad.
"Wait, what's wrong?" asked Liza.
"I'm just feeling a little nervous." I admitted.
"You're gonna do fine, sweetie." Liza reassured me.
"Thanks guys. I'm so lucky to have you guys as my best friends."
"We love you!" said Lauren.
I look over to where Dom was standing, and all of the guys do that bro thing and they slap him on the back. He looks so happy. I can't help but smile. We're gonna be ok, we're always ok! And then I go hit the dance floor, dancing the night away with the people I truly adore.
