Chapter 34

Lilly
We get out of the car and make our way to the entrance. The waiter takes us to our seats and guess who we're sitting by? Yousef and Bethany. Who are making out. Again. Oh my god, how can Yousef stoop so low? Is this some sort of rebound? I avert my eyes and focus on Dom and his hotness. We order our drinks and order our usual. By the time our food arrived, Dom had me in tears. He's so funny.

The whole time we're talking, I can't help but notice how beautiful Lilly looks. She probably put in a little more effort than usual, and knowing that she put a little more effort in for me makes my heart do weird things. Her hair is absolutely gorgeous and her laugh is just music to my ears.
"Dom?" she says.
"What?"
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just you look so beautiful."
"Aw, thank you so much. You don't look that bad yourself." she replies with a smile.
The waiter comes with our bill and since she insisted on paying, she pays. Then we leave the restaurant, hand in hand. Lilly seems to have forgotten all about Aman, which is good. She needed this to take her mind of him. I drive her home and when she walks inside she instantly kicks off her heels and rubs her feet. I laugh, because I clearly don't know the struggle that girls go through when they wear heels. She goes upstairs to take a shower and then I hear a knock on the door. I look through the little hole and see Aman standing there with roses. I run upstairs and jump into the shower with Lilly. She looks at me with wide eyes. It's been awhile since we've taken a shower together. She look extremely surprised. Aman lets himself in with the key that's underneath the door mat. "Is Lilly here?" he yells.
"Yeah, she's taking a shower and I'm using the toilet so neither of us can see you right now"
"Oh" he says, sounding extremely disappointed. "I'll come back another day." And he leaves.
"I've got to find another hiding spot for that key" Lilly says at last.
My clothes are so wet and they're stuck to my body. We launch into a makeout fest which doesn't last too long. Lilly gets out of the shower, dries, and dresses. She brushes her long, silky, brown hair. And then she goes to Humble's room to get me an extra pair of clothes since these clothes are wet. I dry and dress. I flex my muscles in the mirror. Looking good. I tell myself.  I go downstairs and find Lilly popping some popcorn. We settle in and cuddle for what seems like another movie night. She picked the movie Atomic Blonde, which came out recently and she's seen a million times. And so we do just that.
