Dom's POV
We get into the car and I drive her to Perch. It has an amazing view of L.A, and I absolutely love it. This was where, Bethany and I had our first date, I mean, she. Why the hell am I thinking about Bethany when I've got the most beautiful girl in the world as my girlfriend? Let's just focus on Lilly. I think to myself. We get out of the car and walk to the entrance of the restaurant. The waiter takes us to the rooftop, where there are candles on the tables. He gives us our menus and tells us about the specials menu. Then he leaves and waits for us to make our decision about the drinks and food.
Lilly: Dom, this is way too fancy. The food is so damn expensive, what were you thinking?
Me: Baby, shh, say no more. Just relax. I'll take care of it.
The waiter comes back and we order. Minutes later, the waiters arrive with our food. We dug in. When we finish eating, I call the waiter so he can bring me the bill. Lilly hasen't been very talkative. I hope I didn't make her mad. When we get inside the car I ask:
Me: Lilly, what's wrong?
Lilly: Dom, I just feel uncomfortable with you spending so much money on me.
Me: Baby, that's my job.
Lilly: Dom, I can take care of myself. I have been for the past 2 years.
Me: I know, Lil. But I like doing sweet things for you.
Lilly: Ok, I guess I forgive you. So what are your plans for tonight?
Me: I think you know what I'm in the mood for, I say smirking.
Lilly: Oh, yeah?
I can't help but notice how beautiful she looks. The way her beautiful brown hair slips past her waist, the way her eyes sparkle when I crack jokes, the way her laugh makes my knees go weak. Damn, I'm so lucky.
Lilly's POV
Dom looks so hot tonight. The way he stares at me with those chocolate brown eyes, the way his laugh makes my knees go weak. I am so lucky to have such an amazing man in my life. Why was I so mad about him spending money on me, I don't really know. It was just one dinner, and plus Dom has other plans for tonight...
