Chapter 31: The Second Date

Lilly
I wake up feeling a little too happy the next morning. Nata and Misako were already up and they already ordered food.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty." said Nata
"Why are you so happy?" Misako smirked.
"Well, Dom asked me out on another date." I admitted.
"Hold up, you mean Dominic, as in D-trix?"
"That's the one."
"Yeah, he's a cutie." Nata replied.
"Right?" I agreed.
"So that means you should get ready! We'll help you." Misako stated.
"Aw, thanks guys. Y'all are the best."
And so Misako and Nata call Ashley and Papi over to help me get ready. Papi gives me one of those amazing hair massages, while Misako and Nata raid through my closet for an outfit that would be perfect for the occasion. I told Dom not to take me anywhere fancy because last time it did not end well. We all decide on the outfit that I wore to the Streamy's. Not too fancy and not too casual. My team also decides to do the same makeup as well. Finally, I'm ready. I take a look in the mirror and gasp. I look perfect and absolutely stunning. Just then I heard a knock on the door. Obviously, it's Dom.
"Ooh, there he is! Knock him dead." Misako smiled.
"Thanks guys. Y'all are the best." I thanked them.
"We love you, Lilly." said Nata.
"Aw, I love you guys too." I replied.
And then I go downstairs and that's when I see him. He looks so damn hot. He's wearing that one suit he always wears, but I never get tired of seeing him wear it. Damn.

Dom
I look up and see her. She looks absolutely stunning. Misako and Nata are standing there, looking like proud mamas. Lilly is wearing the outfit that she wore to the Streamy's. And her hair is styled into a nice bun. She has BAWSE slathered on those soft, kissable lips of hers. There's a little cleavage showing, which turns me on even more. Stop Dom. You're not here to get laid, you're here to take the most gorgeous woman out on a date, so stop being a perv and just get on with it! Lilly hugs her team and thanks them and soon we're off. I take her to the Lodge, which is short for Lodge Bread Co. The waitresses are extremely fast, which is a big bonus because we're both starving. We order our drinks and then we talk.

Lilly
So far this date is going pretty well. He hasn't said or done anything weird, so that's good. And then my eyes drifted to his lips. Damn, his lips look so soft. I would love to kiss them. No, Lilly, stop, you can't think like that. You're just friends. Finally, before I could say or do anything stupid, the waiter came with our drinks. And then we order. I order vegan pizza and he gets a burger. We laugh and talk as if time didn't pass between us at all. Before I know it, the night comes to an end.  He pays for the food and then he takes me home. I see a couple against the wall making out. I smile. Good for them. But then I get better look at them and we both gasp. It's Bethany and Yousef. It has been 2 months since we had seen both of them. But together? At the same restaurant? That's kind of weird. I got the feeling that they were following us. I shiver in the cold night. Dom takes off his jacket and drapes it over my shoulders.
"Hey, hey guys! Where are y'all going?"
We turn around at the same time and see Yousef smiling and waving at us.
"So tell me, how drunk are you?" Dom asked.
He laughs.
"Very."
"That's what I thought. Now I'm calling an Uber." Dom said.

Dom
I have to say I was surprised to see Yousef and Bethany here. I had no idea Bethany would stoop so low. Not that I have anything against Yousef, I mean he's my homie and everything but she's too desperate. She just stood there with a disgusted look on her face when she saw me with Lilly. I call the Uber and minutes later it sweeps them out of sight. We breathe a sigh of relief. Finally, they were out of our hair. Lilly turns around and looks deeply into my eyes, and I can't help but notice how beautiful and radiant she looks tonight. At last, I couldn't take it anymore. I lean in and kiss her soft lips. We kiss with such passion. I don't remember the last time I had kissed her like that. And it was amazing. Like a dream come true. I know I sound cheesy to you, but it really couldn't get better than this.
