Chapter 9

Lilly

I stop kissing Dom immediately. We were about to fuck and I was about to let that happen.

"Lilly, what's wrong?" He asked me, concern evident in his voice.
"Dom, we can't, I can't." I tried to explain.
"Fine."

I push him away and wrap the covers around my naked body and grab my clothes and run to the bathroom. Once my clothes are on, I run back into the bedroom. Dom is sitting there on the bed, already dressed.
"Let's just forget this happened," I suggested.
"Can we cuddle?"
"Of course," He replied.

We lay there in his bed, cuddling. It felt right. And in that moment, I could imagine the rest of my life with him.

Dom

When Lilly broke the kiss off, I sensed something was wrong. when I asked her if everything was ok, she didn't answer me and just ran off into the bathroom. While she was changing, I got dressed and sat on the bed. Lilly came into the room asking if we can cuddle, as if hoping to erase the memory. I agreed, I could use some cuddling myself. We did just that until we both fell asleep.
The next time we woke up, it was 2:00. Lilly sat up, groaning from the hangover.

"Oh my god," She gasped.
"I can't believe that we slept for that long."

She rubs her head, as if it'll help the migraine go away. I order some Advil off Postmates. When the delivery guy arrived, I gave him a decent tip and thanked him. I then went to the kitchen to drink the Advil. I drink it with some water. I pour a glass for Lilly and take it upstairs for her to drink. I find Lilly scrolling through Instagram.

"Thank you so much. You're a lifesaver." She thanked me.

 She took the water and Advil. I ordered some food while Lilly went into the washroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. When she came (wow I'm sorry, children of god. That sounds wrong) out, the food had already arrived and we dug in. When we finished eating, we both felt better about the whole situation. We watches some Game of Thrones for awhile until 5:00, which is when she goes to the kitchen to eat a snack and then leaves. Maybe I should ask her to be my girlfriend...
