Jerred's POV

Today is my parents renewal of vows. I'm so blessed that I have parents like them. Never in my entire life I saw them fight in front of us, just like what other parents do in front of their children. Dad loves my mom so much and I admire him for doing that. It may sounds gay but I love them dearly.

Seeing my mom in her lovely dress with her beautiful smile makes me happy. As soon as she came out from the car. I got her hand and guided her in front of the church to take a walk on the isle.

"Gorgeous as always", I whisper to her.

"Naku anak binobola mo naman ako."

"But its true", then I wink.

" Naku bata ka! Anak ka nga ng daddy mo.", she giggled.
" Thank you rin kay Dhine, I love this dress. Gusto ko siya son, nasabi mo na ba sa kanya?", makahulugan nitong tanong.

"Hindi pa Mom, I don't have the courage to tell her."

"Don't prolong it son. Take a move. You have our blessings", then she smiled.

"Thanks mom"

After the ceremony we went straight at the reception. I admire how Dhine's team works. And speaking of Dhine I have seen her awhile ago, she looks stunning with her simple dress.

Ting! Ting! Ting! Ting!

Napukaw ako ng kalansing ng baso. The 4- year old boy making sounds out of the glass and his spoon. I can't help but to smile because of his gesture. Naughty kid.
As of cue, my dad kiss my mom.

I went straight to her. I want to talk to her, in fact I missed her so much. I got my handkerchief and give it to her.

"Punasan mo ang luha mo, nakakairita tingnan, this is my parents moment, ayokong makita kang malungkot lalo na si mommy.", malamig kong sabi.

"Shit man! Ano bang pinagsasabi mo. You should comfort her."

She accepts my handkerchief and murmured sorry as she wipes her tears.

"Fuck! Cursed you man!"

I should comfort her pero dinadaga ako shit!

Minutes later, I delivered my message to mom and dad.

"To my parents, happy silver wedding anniversary. I love you both. Mom your the sweetest mother I've ever had, your simple gesture that made me feel so loved, just remember that no one can replace you in my heart. And to you Dad thank you so much for being a responsible father whom I can be proud of. It may sound gay but I considered you as my night in shining armor. I saw how you love mama and I thank you for that. Wish you both a good health and please don't loose that sparks between the two of you. I love you parents." As soon I finished I came to them and  hugged them both.

"I love you son", mom says.

"Love you too ma"

On all the duration of event, my eyes is only fixed on Dhine.

I saw something in her eyes. It must be sadness or longing? Longing for what?

Dhine is a mysterious woman and I want to know her more. But she's something that I hardly understand. She's different from the other women I've ever met. And with that, she catches my full attention. Recently, I found out that Alice and her are best of friends and I take that opportunity to ask my cousin about her. Yes Alice is my second cousin. I've learned so much about her, most especially her attachment to JJ. I know him once and I must say that he is a good guy. Sorry for him that he passed away early.
