I can't thank you guys enough for this special milestone! It truly means a lot to me that a lot of people like to read this. Now I did say that this is going to be planned to be 2,000+ words, so you're in for a long chapter! Hope you guys like it!

I picked up a pencil. Some paper was sprawled out in front of me. Today was the day, I was finally going to write my fantasy story. It was going to be the first one I had done in years. Fantasy stole my heart like many other fantasy stories, and today was going to be the day where I was going to write my own.

"Howl! Where's Viktor?" I called.

Howl didn't answer. Elizabeth was out again, running the bookstore. Calcifer wasn't to be disturbed. So I was alone in the castle, having no clue where Howl and Viktor are. It's been at least two years since Howl was released from jail. Viktor was now 12, old enough to practice magic. That's where he was! I ran to the door, switched the dial to blue, and pulled the door open. Howl was standing with Viktor practicing magic. Why didn't I think of that to begin with? I walked out into the field and made my way towards Howl.

"How are you doing, sweetie?" Howl asked.

"Hi, mom!" Viktor called.

"Why is Viktor 50 yards away from you?"

"We're practicing teleportation with portals."

"Are you sure that's a safe idea?"

"Yeah, totally. Alright, Viktor! You ready?!"

"READY!"

"I'm just going to watch this from far away as I can."

I walked away and then felt my hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I turned around to see three portals rip open. They were from a different world. One had a giant bath house; the second one had a giant tree; and the third had spaceships and lasers shooting out of them.

"Viktor!"

Viktor was sitting on the ground, a baseball size lump on his head. Howl made an ice pack appear from air and he placed it onto his head.

"You ok, Viktor?"

"Think so. What did I do?" Viktor asked as he looked up and saw the three portals opening up even larger.

"Something went wrong with the portals."

Howl helped Viktor up and they made their way towards me. I was staring at the portals in shock. I then turned towards Howl.

"Can't you close them?"

"I don't think I can."

Soon the spaceships went tumbling through the portal. Everything from that world was coming over to this world. The bath house leaked through and the tree fell.

"We have to get out of here!" Howl yelled.

"No duh!" I screamed.

Howl grabbed the dial and switched it to red. He opened the door, Viktor ran in after him, and I followed them close behind. Howl shut the door and changed it to green. He opened the door and saw a courtyard facing him.

"I'll go back and check on the blue dial later. We should give the portals a rest," said Howl.

"I'm sorry, dad," said Viktor.

"Don't need to be, Viktor. That was a high difficulty level of magic. I'm the one that should be sorry. I made you practice what wizards my age should be practicing. Speaking of wizards, where's Elizabeth. We should try practicing that."

"NO!" I screamed.

"I mean once all of that is cleared up. Come on, let's go find Elizabeth."

"She's down at the town today. She said she would look after the bookstore while I began writing."
