A/N: I know this looks weird on the roster of chapters, but I couldn't wait to write the second part for the Spirited Away crossover. That one's going to be released when this story hits 500 views! 500 by the July 7! Let's do this guys, I have faith in you. If you could make it 100 to 300 within ten days of me not writing, you guys can add on 40 views in a matter of a few updates. I believe in you guys. You guys taught me to believe in myself, I'm going to show you that I can believe in you. I truly do, I know we can reach the half 1k milestone. When we do, I'd probably be so overwhelmed with joy that I might make a chapter in itself. My words in an A/N can't tell you guys how much I appreciate the views. On with the show!

After five years of being alone with Elizabeth, I was so glad to see Howl once more. We've been spending time with each other more than usual. I don't want to lose him again, not now. After his surprise return, I really just wanted to be left alone with Howl. I just missed him so much.

~3 years later~

Elizabeth is now 9 and her magic is now blossoming. She and Howl have been working on what she can do and can't do. So far she can teleport things, make certain items disappear and reappear, and transform things into other objects. I was watching her practice one of the most trickiest transformations. I was nervous for both Howl and Elizabeth. Her transformation today was to turn Makrl into a parakeet. She was struggling with human transformations than anything else.

"Howl, why don't we wait until she's older."

"I think she's capable of doing it now."

"Yeah, mom."

I gave a nervous side smile and continued to watch. Markl wasn't looking pleased to be their lab rat. I twirled my hair between my fingers, watching intensely. I had a first-aid kit if anything went wrong and out of hand. Elizabeth was ready to transform Markl. At first, she didn't get the hang of it. Frustrated, she began shooting random spells from her hands.

"Elizabeth!" I yelled.

She shook her fist and knocked Howl onto his back. I ran over and helped him up.

"Dad, I'm so sorry."

"No need to worry, dear. Training with Markl was like this. Right, Markl?"

"Yep," said Markl.

Howl stood up, brushed off the dirt, and turned to look at his daughter.

"I think we've had enough practice today."

"Howl, can you come inside to talk?" I asked.

"Sure."

We headed inside, Markl and Elizabeth playing in the courtyard. Once out of earshot, I grabbed Howl by the front of his shirt and pulled him towards my face.

"What the hell were you thinking? Letting her know such advanced magic at this age!"

"She's well gifted and extremely talented," Howl said, surprised by the anger I had.

"But she's your daughter, and you basically put Markl, her, myself, and you in danger!"

"She was doing alright."

"Look, you might have control over your magical abilities, but she doesn't. She's only 9! You're closing in on 36!"

"I know where you're coming from, but-"

"Howl, Elizabeth's magic is controlled by her emotions. You can handle your emotions."

"So should I teach her how to control them?"

"Yes!"

"Honey, she's only starting to learn."

"Then maybe you should learn from your mistakes."
