بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
"Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm" meaning "In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful"
As Salamu Aleykum WA rahmatoula WA baraqatuh.
The prophet Muhammad (SAW) said : "You do as you please but remember, you will die just like you lived, you will die just like you lived and you will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment just like you died".
If you lived a life of disobedience, if you lived a life of sin, you will die the same way and you will be resurrected the way you died ! Subhana'Allah, may Allah (SWT) Gives us one of the best ways to return to Him, insha'Allah.
Second incident.
A woman writes : "Could you explain to me that did my husband die a good death? Or did he die as a bad death?"
She writes "One occasion, me and my husband, we were sitting down on the sofa and were watching a football match. We were watching a football (soccer) match because my husband really loved football."
"And he was, a supporter of Alan shearer. And he used to love Alan shearer"
"He used to have an autograph by Alan shearer on his clothes. And he also used to have pictures of Alan shearer in his bedroom."
"He used to have cards of Alan shearer."
She says "One evening, when my husband and I were sitting down and my husband said that his back was hurting and that his legs have become weak."
She says "I phoned the ambulance and after about twenty minutes, the ambulance arrives. They bring a stretcher in. And when they brought it, they put my husband on the stretcher. And when they put him on the stretcher, my husband grabbed my hand."
"And he said to me : Look after the children. And I said to my husband : Twenty minutes you will be in the hospital, and you will be back out."
And what happens ?
They went towards the ambulance and when they jumped in the ambulance.
She says " My husband was looking at the house ... And it was like as if he was not going to return. And the ambulance took us to the hospital."
"And when they took us to the hospital, they checked on my husband and they found out that he was dying ..."
"Of cancer. And the cancer was so severe that it had reached his brain."
I repeat again, the Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: "You do as you please but remember, you will die just like you lived, you will die just like you lived and you will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment just like you died".
She says "They put the machines on my husband and they said to me that my husband was only gonna last for another few days ... or maybe couple of days ..."
"Or maybe in few hours ...So make the most of it."
She says "I sat next to my husband and I held his hands. And I instructed him to say : La Ilaha IllAllah "
She says "My husband started looking at the window and all of a sudden.
"He started laughing ..."
He started laughing, guys !
She says "His laugh was so loud that the nurses came in, the doctors came in. And when the doctors came in, my husband's body from the middle lifted."
"And he started screaming. He started screaming and he was saying : Alan shearer! Alan shearer! Alan shearer!"
"And then the machines turned off ..."
You will die just like you lived.
If you've lived wining and dining, chilling, thrilling and giving preference to the world over the hereafter, and then you think in your little minds that on the point of death you will utter the Kalima 'La ilaha iLaAllah MuhammadurRasoolullah' or you will die reciting Zhikr or spending salutations on Muhammad (saw), or you will die on a state of prostration. Then you're totally wrong. If we believe that we can reject or neglect Allah (SWT) and His Messenger, Muhammad (SAW). Or if we believe that we can fool people by acting as if we were very good people, but in reality the heart is as darken as coal, we will never die by reciting the Kalima.
You can fool whoever you wants to on Earth. Your parents, your friends, yourself even, it's up to you. But you would never fool Allah, The Creator of the universe, Allah Al Kareem, Allah Ar Rahman. Allah The One Who Sees, Hears everything. You cannot fool Allah (SWT).
May Allah (SWT) save us.
