- Intercourse before marriage?

"We live in a society where marriage at 19 is looked down upon, but there's nothing wrong with Zina at 15"

The dignity of human beings and especially the dignity of women is  something that is utterly valued and highly sanctified in Islam.

A woman's womb in Arabic refers to 'rahm' which is extracted from the name of Allah Himself  'Ar- Rahman' The Most Merciful.

This is a sign of elevation and closeness the woman has with The Creator Himself, The King of kings, the Giver of Life.

Allah chose women to be the carriers of life into existence and this is one of the most honorable position. Wherever she is, the woman must be taken care of, protected and honored. If she is in her dad's house, she must be raised & educated.

If she is in her husband's house, then spending on her and treating her  kindly and gently are acts of worship for him that he'll be rewarded for by Allah. This is all in the most authentic narrations of this religion.

But yet what do we see in the corrupt society of today? Women are shamelessly treated as a piece of flesh. They are being abused. Their right is being violated and their status disrespected.

They let themselves being dominated and subordinated by men, not only in a sexual practise but as a way of being.

The causes of such a behavior are several. Here are a few examples:

- The lack of knowledge in religion or total ignorance, movies influences, different cultures from abroad and pornography.

Yes, pornography.

But how can pornography be a cause of such a commotion?

Let's take an average young teenager with raging hormones who's never watched pornography before.

In his private's fantasies, there's a strong narrative of sensuality and mutuality; meaning that he'd always imagine the arousal in a romantic way, trying to give his partner the full attention, the tender touches and sweet kisses.

After having a habit out of porn, his mindset would totally change from before. His brain's been gradually bombarded with images of women being violated — subordinated and forced into pretending to overjoy a sexual intimacy.

They become aggressors & selfish, even with emotions involved because his humanity's been taken away — An addicted to pornography won't care about seeking the pleasure of his partner, the only thing he'd care about is his own well-being. Women are now considered as a sexual object ready to satisfy their hormones.

This is the result of unromantic husbands whom when it comes to intimacy they seek their own enjoyment and they're done with it.

So how can a man whose mind's been bombarded with violence & shameless images can ever respect a woman?

Have you ever watched any commercial clips or any satanic music videos clips of some rappers? What are the most highlighted aspects in those videos?

- Drug

-Violence

-Alcohol

-Sex

- And women. Particularly undressed women. Plenty of them, being displayed in the front screen like puppets. That's actually pornography with clothes on.

And the most awful part is that, some of them actually love that. If we take example to the dress code, some of them dress up with provocativeness; it's their way to feel pretty or beautiful. Because they want men to gaze at them in a shamelessly way.

Why ? Because they have no shame within their self — dealing with a lack of self respect & self-esteem.

Girls get this notion of if you want to be worthy of love — First and furemost you have to be worthy of sexual desire. Which equals to ? be like a porn star.

I think that it is very important to know that when it comes in term of nutrition it is not only about what we put into our bodies, but also what we put into our minds.

Because the brain only absorbs what it gets and disturbing images may invades our minds to the point that we somehow think that certains things are normal.

The idea of :

~ "let me try her/him first so I can know him better"

~ "Because I don't know if he/she is the one for me"

~ "So I'll easily ditch him if I feel like I don't want to continue in this relationship"

~ "No worries, no strings attached."

This 🔼 brothers & sisters is nothing else but selfishness & irresponsibility.

We are never going to have 'perfect' partners. There's no way one will know what'll happen in the future, no matter how long they "get to know" their partners — Only Allah The Knower of the future does.

If a couple are united for His Sake, then He will be The One descending peace, mercy, love & tranquility upon them.

Choose your partner basing on their values of true faith, righteousness, responsibility, good reputation and initial attraction .. then commit and ask the Creator to bless and ease and aid both partners on their path

Al Hassan Al Basri, said: "marry your daughter to one with sound religion, so if he loved her, he'll honor her and if he ever disliked her, he will not commit injustice against her."

How many sisters in humanity are left alone struggling to support children whose fathers have left off without committing to support them or to cover their needs?

Ask your heart if this is what's really honorable and dignifying for human beings.

Never settle for darkness. Always seek The Light ...
