Chapter 6. Atrocities

An hour later
Hunter had arrived at the gates of Cilan, and stopped the car and turned it off. He got out with everyone else and looked at the gates.
"This is Cilan?" Hunter asked and Lucy nodded.
"Yep. Be careful. This place is full of evil." Lucy said, and Hunter looked at everyone.
"There's two options here. One, we walk right into trouble, or two, we find another way in." Hunter said.
"I vote two. Anyone else?" Dom asked, looking at everybody. Hunter looked at Lucy and she had her eyes closed and she was putting her hands on the ground.
"Uh, Lucy?" Hunter asked.
"Shh!" she replied, and kept feeling the ground. Everyone watched her, wondering what she was doing.
"There's something under us. Something living." Lucy said, and opened her eyes and looked at them.
"Okay, but how do we get down there?" Hunter asked, and Lucy pointed both her hands at the ground and a tunnel appeared.
"Alright then." Hunter says, and started heading down into the tunnel and everyone followed him.
"

This is creepy." Jinx said as they all walked through the tunnel.
"Yeah. Wish we had some light." Hunter said, and at that moment a purple light filled the tunnel. Everyone looked around and looked at Eli, who had the purple light coming from her hand.
"Hey, you said you wanted light." Eli said and Hunter continued walking until he was stopped by a metal door.
"Markarth, nothing's gonna stop me now." Hunter said and made a shadow hammer and started to hit the metal door. After a few hits, the door came down and Hunter walked in. He walked into a long white hallway, like something you'd see in a lab.
"What is this place?" Lucy asked, and Hunter started walking down the doorway.
"Looks like a lab of some sort. God. What has Markarth been doing in here?" Hunter asked as he got to the end of the hallway and entered a room with a bunch of human sized tubes. Lucy gasped quietly and covered her mouth.
"What is this...?" she asked quietly, and Hunter shook his head.
"Markarth is gonna pay for this," he said.
"Oh am I?" a voice asked, and Hunter looked around and saw Markarth at the door. Hunter growled quietly as everyone stood next to him.
"You experimented with people?" Hunter asked in a deep voice, walking forward.
"Oh, yes I did. Want to be the first tester? Of course you do." Markarth said and snapped his fingers, and one of the tubes opened up to reveal a normal looking female, with no clothes. She fell to the ground and looked up at everyone as they looked at her.
"Please... stay away..." she said quietly and Markarth laughed.
"Kill them." Markarth said and the girl had started changing and she stood up, and had two exoskeleton like spider legs came out of her shoulder blades and an exoskeleton armor covered her.
"This is entertaining to you Markarth?! What kind of sick human being does this?!" Hunter yelled at Markarth, and the woman swung her shoulder weapon at Hunter, and sent him flying into a wall.
"Hunter!" Dom called and Dom's hands caught on fire and he started to throw fire at the woman, and she screamed and backed up. Hunter stood up after falling on the ground, and he looked at Markarth.
"Now that's where you messed up." Hunter said, and charged Markarth with a hammer in his hand, and swung at him. Markarth dodged it and punched Hunter in the face, and then had a short sword in his hand. Markarth swung his short sword at Hunter, but Hunter blocked it with his hammer, and made the hammer disappear and grabbed Markarth's sword, and kicked him away.
Markarth growled and looked at Hunter, and Hunter stood ready with the sword.
"You're making me angry." Markarth said and he ran towards Hunter and kicked him into the wall, grabbed him by the head and slammed him into the ground, then threw him into the wall. Hunter laid on the ground for a few seconds and then stood up, and he had his eyes closed. When he opened them, they were fully black.
"This has gone on to long, Markarth. Now, it's time for you to die." Hunter said, but it didn't seem like Hunter.
"Just try it, Specter. I know exactly who you a-" Markarth said, before he was interrupted by Hunter/Specter putting the sword in his throat.
"Your one weakness, is your own weapon. Live by the sword, die by the sword." Hunter/Specter said and pulled the sword down, cutting Markarth in half. Markarth's body fell to the ground and Hunter's eyes were back to normal, and he was also covered in blood. Hunter looked at his hands and looked at everyone else, and Dom had the woman in his arms, unconscious.
"W-what just happened?" Hunter asked Dom and Dom sighed.
"Apparently, Specter, took you over and killed Markarth. Let's not worry about it right now Hunter, let's just get out of here." Dom and Hunter slowly walked over to them and Jinx pulled out a crystal from her pocket.
"Here. Crush it in your hand and think of the place that you wanna go." Jinx said, and handed the crystal to Hunter. Hunter crushed the crystal in his hand and thought of Dreydence, and in a moment they were back in Dreydence.
"Finally." Hunter said, and Jinx looked off into the woods, and saw a glint. Her eyes widened and she looked at everyone.
"Guys, get down. Now!" She said and a gunshot went off, and Hunter fell to the ground.
