Chapter 31 ~ Doing a Duet

We pulled away slowly and felt the heat swarming around us. Huh, I could've turned on the fan cuz dang, it's so hot in this living room! Or maybe it's Connor cuz he's totally a hottie! I thought to myself.

"Woo!" Connor said fanning himself. "Is it hot in here, or is it just me?" He winked at me as I walked to the fan and turned it on. Then he starts taking his shirt off.

My cheeks turn red after he takes it off. I could see his abs showing. What should I do? Scream and fangirl? Or just faint? I'm just standing here all like "Damn he's hot!" Well I'm so glad that I have a vampire boyfriend who's hot and has abs. I thought to myself.

"Like what you see?" Connor said smirking at me.

I sat on the couch next to him, acting awkwardly. I really don't know what to say. I kept blushing and blushing until I have an answer. And my answer to his question is... Simply kiss him as an answer meaning yes. I don't know why though. Connor was surprised, but he kissed back. Eventually, we've been kissing for a minute and a half. That's kinda like a make out session, but Connor and I don't do that like in romantic movies. Then we pulled away.

"I'll take it as a yes, I should do this more often in your bedroom" Connor said smirking at me.

"Connor you're such a pervert!" I giggled punching his arm.

"I'm kidding!" Connor chuckled.

Suddenly, I got a text from Trevor.

From: Trevor 😝🎤

Hey NatKat, wanna record a YouTube video of us doing a duet to the song, All of Me at ur house? It's gonna be on my YouTube channel

I respond to his text with 'sure'. I forgot today's Friday. Trevor uploads his YouTube videos on his main and the collab channel 'Our2ndLife'.

Then I received a text from Trevor.

From: Trevor 😝🎤

Ok. See u in 30 seconds :)

30 seconds? I don't think he'll make it. Then in exactly 30 seconds, I heard the doorbell rang. That must be Trevor. Okay, maybe I'm wrong.

"I'll get the door" Connor said getting up the couch and walked towards the door and opens it.

"Oh thanks Con-Da-Bon! You didn't have to open the door for him. I got this" I said.

"Oh no! I'm just being a gentleman. I always open door for people" Connor said.

"Hey lovebirds" Trevor said coming in. "Natalie can you set up my camera please?" He asked.

"Sure" I said.

I helped Trevor set up his camera while Connor went to my bedroom to take a nap. I hope he doesn't drool on my pillows. He knows that Trevor and I are gonna film a YouTube video so he doesn't wanna disturb us. Once Trevor's camera is already set up, I grabbed my guitar from the side of my couch, adjust the strings, and now I'm on playing position.

Trevor pressed record on his camera and he sat on the couch next to me and in 3 seconds, as his camera started to record, I started strumming my guitar and we started singing All of Me by John Legend.
