Three.

"Addie! I'm going school supply shopping! Don't burn the house down!" Mom calls to me from downstairs.

"Okay!" I choke out.

It has been approximately thirty-six hours since Louis kissed me, and all I've wanted to do since then was kiss him some more. Louis has this aura around him that is contagious.

Whenever you leave from being with him you just want to go back. He's like a rubber duck to a person who lives in the bath tub; you can survive without him but you just want him there. He's addicting.

I've been lying in bed staring at my ceiling for most of those thirty-six hours, trying to get up the courage to go see Louis. Do I have a school girl crush? I think I do.

There's just something about him. It might be the way his blue eyes shine when you look at him, the smell of his sweet cologne, his adorable accent, or maybe it's just his lips. Whatever it is, I want some more. I look down from my ceiling and across from my bed out my balcony doors at Louis's house. I am about to look back up at the ceiling when the balcony doors directly across from mine open up and Louis steps out on to the balcony with a watering can. He leans down and waters the flowers and shrubs below him, the water falling a few feet before it finally hits the greenery. I scramble out of my bed, quickly grabbing every ounce of outgoingness that I have ever had and swinging open my balcony doors.

"Hey you!" I yell across the way.

Louis looks up then around, then points to himself in a questioning way.

"Yes you!" I roll my eyes. "Is that your room?"

"Yes" Louis calls back.

My heart starts beating faster. Louis is right across from me? This is just like the movies. What movie have I watched that has this situation in it? None. Maybe I should direct a movie.

"Get your butt over here!" I say.

"I think it will be a little difficult for me to fly from my balcony to yours" Louis rests the watering can on the patio floor.

"I mean come through the front door smart one" I laugh.

Louis grins back at me. "I'll be over in a few" He says and disappears back in to his room.

Did I just invite a boy over when my parents are gone? Thank god I don't have siblings. Do I have time to shower? Of course not. He lives thirty seconds away. I run to my vanity and spray some dry shampoo in to my hair. Then I run in to my closet and switch on my light, screaming again when I see myself in the mirror.

"Not now you little shit" I scold my reflection.

I pick out another pair of denim shorts (NOT the ones I wore thirty-six hours ago) and a lace crop top that Morgan left over here a while ago. I quickly throw on the items of clothing and rush to my bathroom. I apply concealer and foundation to cover up some of my light acne and brush on mascara, then scrub my teeth and run through perfume a couple of times. On my last run through the perfume the doorbell rings.

I run down the stairs and calm myself down before I swing open the front door to be greeted by Louis. Instead of the sweatpants and t-shirt he was wearing when he was watering the plants, he is wearing jeans and the same shirt. I motion for him to come inside and he follows me to the living

area.

"Why did you call this meeting?" Louis asks.

"Why did you kiss me the other day?" I ask. I almost said the whole thirty-six hours thing but I was afraid he would get weirded out.
