Thirty-Five.
From many different people, I have been told that Louis and I are a perfect couple. We rarely fight, unless it’s over how many marshmallows are best to put in hot chocolate. Our life in Doncaster is almost imaginary; it’s so perfect. I feel like we are in a fairy tale.
Louis and I like to take walks around the park every Sunday, and this particular Sunday might have been the prettiest Sunday of the year. I lean into him as we walk hand in hand along the pavement, and I close my eyes in pure bliss; letting Louis lead me.
We are almost to the center of the park when Niall spots me. I am puzzled as to why the hell Niall is sitting alone on a bench in the middle of a park, but then I remember that it’s Niall we’re talking about. Niall waves us over and Louis raises his eyebrow before walking with me over to him.
“What are you doing here?” Louis asks, still holding on to me.
“Looking for lost dogs” Niall shrugs like it’s completely normal.
Louis and I just stare at him for a while before shrugging it off.
“I’ll be right back” Louis says before kissing my cheek and releasing me.
I take a seat on the bench next to Niall and cross my legs, watching Louis as he walks over to a cart full of something I can’t see.
“You have a perfect life” Niall says, crossing his arms.
“There’s no such thing as a perfect life.”
“Look at him” Niall motions to Louis, pulling out his wallet in front of the cart.
I smile at my boyfriend. Louis and I have been so busy lately its times like these where I really have time to sit down and think about what’s happened. If there was a book on our life, I assure you it would be the most boring book ever because me literally do nothing besides drink hot chocolate and snuggle. Whoever would be writing the book would lay awake tossing and turning because they don’t know what to do with the book, so they just do a big time lapse and end it.
I’m sure there will be more stories more interesting than Louis and I’s, and I’m sure there will be more.
“He loves you a lot, you know” Niall says.
My eyes follow Louis as he returns to the bench with a single rose in his hand, smiling.
“I know” I say.
THE END
SORRY FOR THIS SHITTY ENDING I JUST COULDN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE I DON’T HAVE ANY GOOD IDEAS AND ITS BEEN LIKE A MONTH I JUST COULDN’T I’LL COME BACK WHEN I ACTUALLY GET A GOOD STORY IDEA THIS STORY WAS A FLOP BUT WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.
