So I don't really know how to describe this. It's just kind of different scenarios involving your child(ren) with each character. I apologise for the crappy title. XxSherlock:
It had been around 3 months since your daughter Charlotte had been born and you had been with her since. You needed a break so your fiancé Sherlock organised for you to go to the cinema with molly and Mary. You were very grateful and said goodbye to him and charlotte at around 9. When you returned at 12:30 later that night you were completely ready for bed and couldn't wait to see your daughter, having not been away from her for 3 months. You went into her room only to find it empty and you went to check the other rooms. You finally walked into the room you and Sherlock shared to see the cutest sight. Sherlock was holding his daughter- who was a few weeks premature and therefore tiny compared to him- tight against his chest and they're both fast asleep. You pulled out your phone and snapped a picture before walking forward and prizing her out of his grip in order to put her into her own cot. He stirred slightly and looked up at you, barely being able to keep his eyelids open, and went to get up. You gently pushed him back down and took Charlotte off to her room and when you returned he was fast asleep again. You changed into your pyjamas and climbed into bed next to him and he unconsciously wrapped his arms around you. "Goodnight" you mumbled, "and thank you."
John:
John often came home late from work and was always exhausted which meant you were often left to look after your step daughter Rosie, who was 4 and your son Fin, who was 1. However, John had booked a day off and you all went to spend the day at the zoo. You came home with two exhausted children and once they had had tea and been bathed, John took them off to bed while you cleared away. It had been almost half and hour and John hadn't returned yet. You decided to go and see what was taking so long and you walked into your bedroom to see the three of them totally crashed out, Rosie in the crook of John's arm and Fin on top of his chest. You took the blanket from the bottom of the bed and lay it down, over the three of them before placing a kiss on John's forehead, which he smiled at. You grabbed your pillow and another blanket, as your bed had been totally taken over so you were going to sleep on the sofa. You tiptoed out of the room and whispered goodnight before closing the door behind you.
Moriarty:
Since you daughter,Ava, had been born, Jim had totally changed. She was his little princess and she had him wrapped around her little finger. He was a great help to you but in the 14 months she had been with you, he hadn't looked after her without you. This afternoon, however, you had a conference at work and you couldn't work from home like you had been. So he had to look after her. When you returned at midnight, the house was strangely quiet and Jim wasn't in the living room as you had expected he would be. You wandered down to Ava's room but that was empty too. You heard a faint noise coming from your room along the corridor and stepped in to find Jim completely wiped out and snoring while Ava sat propped up watching cartoons on the telly. You rolled your eyes but couldn't help smiling at the sight. You went forward, switched off the tv and lifted Ava and rocked her until she fell asleep. You put her down in her cot and returned to your room. You gently shook Jim awake as he was in an awkward position and it looked uncomfortable. He sat up, rubbing his eyes sleepily. "What happened, where's Ava?" He mumbled in a deep, sleepy voice. "She's only just gone to sleep, I found her watching cartoons?" You replied, a smirk on your lips. "Sorry" he said rubbing his hands across his face and through his hair. "It's alright" you said, changing into your pyjamas and climbing in next to him. You pulled him down with you and held his head against your chest as you both fell asleep.
Mycroft:
Mycroft had a very busy job but he always made time for your twins, William and Alice. He always said that he wasn't very good with children but that all changed when he had two of his own. He always knew exactly what to do with them and in the 6 months you'd had them, he looked after them multiple times and helped in all the possible ways he could. He had put them down one night and the two of you were 'watching' a film together (you had fallen asleep in his lap and he was on his phone) when they both decided to start screaming together. You sat up to go and get them but Mycroft pushed you back down. "No I'll go" you protested. But he was already on his way to their nursery. You continued to watch the film for a bit but Mycroft didn't come back for a while. You went to see what was happening and you walked into their nursery to see Mycroft cradling one twin in each arm, sat on the rocking chair. He smiled up at you; "it may take a while. You can carry on watching the film if you want?" he said. "Nah it's ok. I wasn't watching it anyway" you replied "why don't you bring them into our bedroom and we can sit together?" You asks hopefully. "If that's what you wish, dear" he said, standing up. He went to the bedroom as you went back to the living room to switch off the tv and look the front door. When you returned to the bedroom, Mycroft had gotten everything perfect. He had sorted out the bed and set out a place for you to lie while he had a dim light on so he could read while holding the twins against his chest. He patted the space next to him and you lay down, snuggling into his side. "Go to sleep" he said "you deserve it".
"So do you" you protested, let me take them"
"No,no,no. I probably won't sleep anyway. I don't mind" he insisted-so you gave in and went to sleep. You had the perfect boyfriend.
Lestrade:
"Got a tricky case. Going to be here for a long time yet. So sorry about the date- I'll make it up to you❤️"
"Ok"
You sighed. Tonight you and your husband Greg were supposed to go out tonight for the first time since your son, Oliver, was born. You were always with him as Greg had to work a lot and you were really looking forward to a night away from him and to spend it with Greg. You texted Sherlock to tell him that he no longer needed to babysit and went to the kitchen to try and figure out something for yours and Oliver's tea.
When you had eaten and bathed Oliver, you took him upstairs to bed. You were exhausted and once he had fallen asleep in your arms, it wasn't long before you too were asleep on the sofa. When Greg can home in the early hours of the morning he was wiped out. He saw the two of you on the sofa and approached the two of you. He took Oliver from your arms, without you even stirring, and placed him in his cot, further along the corridor. He then returned to you, and being so tired decided that he wouldn't be able to carry you gently all the way up the stairs. So, he went upstairs and got changed and returned with a big blanket and several pillows. He gently lowered you down, resting your head on a pillow, before laying down next to you and putting the blanket over the both of you. You stirred slightly and snuggled into his warmth. "I'm sorry" he whispered. "It's ok, you can make it up to me" you mumbled, barely awake. "Got it" he mumbled, then closing his eyes and the both of you slept until late, later than usual, the next morning when Oliver started crying.
