*Time skip to 4th of July* *Kairi's POV* I woke up at 8:37 am and remembered that it's the 4th of July, one of my favorite days of the year. Jonas went back to North Carolina, and Caitlyn went back to Cali. Today, Nathan and I are going to go out to the lake and watch fireworks together, but I have no idea what we're going to do during the rest of the day. I got up showered, got dressed, and did my daily routine. (Outfit below)

I straightened my hair, and then sat down on my bed to check my phone. No notifications, huh. I have no friends. "Baby Boy 💍 would like to FaceTime" I quickly answered and saw Nathan's smiley face pop up on the screen. Nathan- heyyyyyy Kairi- hey dork Nathan- who are you calling a dork Kairi- you Nathan- thanks much love xoxo I giggled and Nathan gave me a smirk. Nathan- so you ready for today? Kairi- more than I'll ever be Nathan- oh, make sure you wear your swimsuit under your clothes too. We're gonna be swimming at the lake later Kairi- got it Nathan- I'm gonna be at your house in 20 minutes okay? Kairi- see you then Nathan- I love youuuuu Kairi- I love you moreee I quickly hung up so he couldn't argue with me. I went to the bathroom to go and change into my swimsuit, then I put my clothes on over it. I walked out and sat on my bed, made a few musicallys and waited for Nathan to get here. After about 15 minutes of making and liking musicallys, Nathan walked in and leaned against the doorway to my room. He has a spare key, shit why did I give him a spare key. I'm so stupid. I was facing my window, so I didn't see him walk in. I was focused on making a musically when I saw him in the camera, I just smiled and kept on making the video. I think he noticed that it was a cute type song because he came up behind me and kissed my cheek. "Hey baby" he smiled after I was done. "You video-bombed itttt" I whined. He rolled his eyes and started to walk away. "Fine then I guess I'll just leave, and go watch the fireworks all alone. And maybe I'll find a cute girl to hang out with" he said trailing off. "Yeah, and that cute girl will be me" I said walking after him and jumping on his back. "That's what I thought" he smiled. We went downstairs and and out to Nathan's car. On the way out, I locked the front door. My dad is still out of town, and he'll be out for another month so I've been in my house alone, besides when Nathan comes over, which is almost everyday. He drove us to IHOP where we ate breakfast, then we went to Starbucks because Nathan is practically 90% coffee. "So where are we going today besides the lake?" I asked him. "Maybe the mall, if you want" he said focusing on the road. "I'm good with it, let's just not spend a ton of money" I said. While we were driving, Nathan turned on some music and I just focused on the world outside of the window. I got caught in my thoughts. Jonas and I have been talking a lot lately, but he hasn't texted me yet today. Strange. So I decided to text him. "Jonas texted me and mentioned you" "So why'd you smile?" He frowned. "Because I love you" I smiled grabbing his hand that wasn't on the wheel and kissing it. He blushed and intertwined our fingers. The rest of the way to the mall it was silent, but it was a comfortable silence. Once we got there, we walked in and I dragged him to Bath & Body Works. "You know I hate this storeee" he whined. "Then go wait outside, I'll be out once I get a few things" He nodded in agreement and left the store. I got what I needed and walked out to see him with a small group of supporters. I smiled in awe as I walked over to them. But I recognized one of them, it was the girl from the m&g. "Hey baby" Nathan smiled as I got over to them. The girl gave me a death glare. I grabbed Nathan's hand and gave it a 'let's go' squeeze. Nathan knows me too well, I have different signals for him. Anxiety signals, scared signals, and "let's get the fuck out of here signals". This one was a "let's get the fuck out of here" signal. He looked at me and I looked at him, then Forever 21. Signaling that we have to go. "Hey thanks for everything guys, but we gotta go" he said smiling at all of them. They nodded and walked away. *Nathan's POV* Why would she want to leave supporters like that? Then I remembered that one of them was the one that was giving her hate. "How long?" I asked her as we were walking to Forever 21. "How long what?" She gave me a confused look. "How long has she been giving you hate" I gave her a stern look. "I haven't gotten any hate" she lied. I know when she's lying, she can't look at me when she lies, and she plays with her bracelets when she lies. "Really? Then what were those messages on your phone?" I stopped her from walking away. "What messages?" She said nervously. I showed her the screenshots of her conversations with the supporter. "Im sorry" she mumbled. "For what?" I asked her. "For not telling you" "Why did you say that you were going to do what she wants"I got worried. "Because that's what she wanted, and she's right. I don't deserve you, and I don't deserve jonas. I don't deserve anything that I have" a tear slipped from her eye. "What did she want?" "For me to leave you and Jonas alone, and for me to hurt myself" she mumbled. At that moment, I was tempted to go after the supporter and tell her off, but I couldn't. She would spread rumors and ruin my career. So all I did was walk up to the supporter and tell her something. What I told her is not relevant for people to know right now. I walked back to Kairi, but she wasn't there. I saw her in Forever 21. I walked over to her and said "I was gone for like 3 minuets, how do you shop so fast". "It's a talent, and I shop faster when I need to get over my feelings" she smiled. "I swear your feelings are bipolar" I laughed. "You know you love it" she smirked. "I do" I smiled giving her a peck on the lips. We bought what she wanted at the mall and then we left and started off in the car to the lake. "What did you say to her?" She asked me. "Not relevant" I said focusing on the road. "Like your social life?" She smirked. "Touché" I laughed. The rest of the way there, we just sang along to music, and talked about random topics. After a 30 minute drive, we pulled up to the lake, and it was about 3:00. "We're kind of early, but that's fine. It's not like we'll get bored" I said. "Nothing's ever boring when I'm with you" she smiled and held my hand. I blushed and smiled down at my lap. "I love you Nathan" I looked at her and her gorgeous green eyes met my bright, blue eyes.
