Nathan and I started online school after the whole Brad situation, and I haven't seen him since the day I got back from SC. I'm still trying to figure out my feelings towards Nathan. I don't know if I like him enough to date him, but he's definitely my type. I've been kinda distant for the past few days, but it's my birthday and I woke up to my room full of balloons. I got dressed in an outfit that I picked out last night, and got ready for the day.

I went to my bathroom, straightened my hair, and did natural makeup.
I went to the kitchen and grabbed a capri-sun. "I haven't checked my phone yet today, crap" I thought to myself. I went upstairs, grabbed my phone, and checked it.
I had been tagged in a picture by Nathan, and I had 4 texts. Two from my dad, one from Nathan, and one from.. jonas. What does he want?

"Happy Birthday to my best friend, I'm so glad I met you. I love you so much Kairi!" it read.
He's so freaking cute. Like how is someone this cute. Next I checked my texts.

D- Happy 16th birthday sweetheart! I'm sorry that I'm already at work but I'll be home later tonight!

Well that was stressful, I was caught up in my thoughts when I heard a knock at the front door. I put my phone in my back pocket, grabbed my capri-sun and answered the door to a very happy Nathan.
He looked at my capri-sun and chuckled, "You're such a child".
"I know" I said teasingly.
I set my capri-sun down on the table outside, turned around and Nathan just said "So, no hug?".
I laughed and walked up to him to hug him.
He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist.
We were like that outside for about 15 seconds before I heard sniffling from around the corner.
