*Kairi's POV*
Nathan and I got out of the car, and went to go chill on the dock next to the lake.
"It's freaking gorgeous here" I said sitting on the edge of the dock.
"Almost as gorgeous as you" Nathan smiled, sitting next to me and kissing my cheek.
"I'm so lucky to have you Nate".
"Not as lucky as me" he smirked.
After about an hour of Nathan getting swarmed by supporters and talking about random things, we finally got in the lake. Of course, Nathan being the aesthetic little boy he is, he wanted to do a lake "photoshoot", I did end up with a really good picture of him though.

~time skip to the fireworks~
Nathan and I were watching the fireworks together when I saw Jonas.
The.
Jonas.
Wasn't he supposed to be in North Carolina? What was he doing here. All these questions flooded through my mind when suddenly I noticed I was noticeably staring.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer" he turned around and smirked.
As soon as he turned around, I ran and jumped into his arms as he spun me around. Nathan was obviously getting jealous, but that hug felt right. Oh shit, I like Jonas.
He put me down and started to say "Hey, there's a party tonig-" when he got cut off by Nathan screaming his name.
Jonas quickly ran over to Nathan, leaving me alone. Then, they both came up to me and each took one of my hands.
"Yes?" I raised an eyebrow.
Next thing I know, I was in the lake. They pushed me.
"Thanks" I said spitting out water.
