They look down their noses
- the fitness freaks -
while ordering pizza
on a Tuesday.
Why do they do that?
What do they see?
Chubby Child;
Fat Parent.
Their own misgivings forgotten
when they hear the word
'Diabetic.'
As if its my fault;
as if its Dads.
Chewing on their guilty pleasure
they sneer "should be ashamed."
A flash of pity
as they watch sharp needle
sink into pale flesh.
