One lonely tear fell, like you did, all alone,
when I learned of your passing
from the Yangtze,
your home.
Blind by the river; in the darkness you flew.
Oh, my modest beauty I have forsaken you.
I waited too long.
Now the dead water cries.
But you, free, are swimming
in clear, clear skies.
